This time I'm introducing a great spot in Sunseong, Dangjin — MIMI Coffee Mill!
Where is MIMI Coffee Mill and what are its hours?
MIMI Coffee Mill is a bakery café at 1064 Nambu-ro, Sunseong-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungnam. It's open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:00.
It's near Ami Museum, so it's a great stop on a drive route, and with such a large parking lot, there were tons of families visiting too! If you're looking for a decent café in Dangjin, I think this place is worth a visit at least once!
Parking and the interior at MIMI Coffee Mill
What I liked most about MIMI Coffee Mill from the moment I arrived was the space. The parking lot was huge, so there was no worry about parking even on a weekend.
I didn't take a photo of the parking lot, but can you see the cars reflected in the floor-to-ceiling windows? The parking lot was huge so there was no weekend parking stress, and the interior also had generous spacing between tables so it didn't feel cramped.
Thanks to the high ceilings, the space felt open, and it was comfortable enough to linger for a while chatting with family.
The quiet countryside feel blended nicely with the sleek interior, so you could really feel that laid-back atmosphere unique to Chungnam cafés.
The window seats were pretty and there was group seating too, so it seemed like a good spot for both dates and family gatherings!
And the mascot character was so cute

What does the MIMI cream latte taste like?
Whenever I come to MIMI Coffee Mill, I always order the MIMI cream latte!
My younger brother told me to just order whatever I was having for him too, so I got him the same drink! He eats pretty much anything happily, but he said this coffee was especially good and finished it fast haha. The biggest charm is the cream!!
Rather than being thick, it has a soft, light texture that blends naturally into the coffee, and behind the sweet, nutty cream comes the bitter depth of espresso, so it never gets tiring!! If you like black sesame, you'll definitely love this — total grandma-palate bait
If you usually like cream lattes, I really hope you try this one. I've been to cafés all over, but honestly this one is memorable enough to call it my life coffee!!! Writing this makes me want another cup
Is the fresh strawberry latte worth ordering?
My mom's been cutting back on caffeine lately, so instead of coffee at MIMI Coffee Mill she ordered the fresh strawberry latte! I stole a sip and it wasn't that artificial syrupy taste — it tasted fresh, like real strawberries were blended straight in.
There was plenty of fruit pulp too, so the texture had a nice bite, and it wasn't too sweet so you could drink it all the way down cleanly. My mom said she'd order this again next time, so "strawberry latte spot" is a fitting title for this drink!
Bakery picks: sweet pea bread, mocha bun and sweet corn mochi soboro
The three bakery items we picked at MIMI Coffee Mill — glutinous rice sweet pea bread, mocha bun, and sweet corn mochi soboro — all had very different personalities.
The glutinous rice sweet pea bread had that chewy texture the name promises, and it was really good. The sweet pea filling was mild, so even the adults could eat it without feeling weighed down.
The mocha bun had a strong butter aroma, slightly crisp on the outside and moist inside — it paired best with the cream latte.
And the surprise favorite was the sweet corn mochi soboro.
The nuttiness of the soboro (crumble topping), the chewiness of the mochi, and the sweetness of the corn came together more harmoniously than I expected — if you like unusual bakery items, I'd recommend this one! I really thought there was no way we'd finish all this bread after a solid lunch, but it was so good it disappeared in no time haha..
