Hagik-dong bulgogi hot pot set for two: 300g and a free grade-1 egg

I was looking for a solid meal near Singi Market in Hagik-dong and ended up at Dongchuwon Bulgogi. Since it's a bulgogi-focused place and I love meat, I went in with high expectations. It's located on the 1st floor of 67 Hagikso-ro, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, and reservations, group bookings, and parking are all available.

Where is Dongchuwon Bulgogi, and where do you park?

Dongchuwon Bulgogi is near Singi Market, so it's a good pick if you're looking for a Singi Market restaurant or somewhere to eat in Hagik-dong. It's also fairly close to Incheon District Court and Incheon District Prosecutors' Office — easy to find coming down from the Beopwon-ipgu intersection.

Parking is available at the Seonjeong parking lot across the street, and we got parking support too. It's 1 hour 30 minutes free with a cooked-dish order, 30 minutes free with a meal order. Parking in Hagik-dong has occasionally made choosing a restaurant tricky, so having parking support like this was genuinely convenient for us driving in.

Inside Dongchuwon Bulgogi and its private room

The inside of Dongchuwon Bulgogi had a comfortable mood for eating with family. It really does allow group use, and there's a separate private room too, so it's worth noting for anyone looking for an Incheon private-room restaurant. Bulgogi as a dish is easy for everyone from kids to parents' generation to enjoy together, so it struck me as a great spot for an Incheon family gathering.

Thinking back on family meals out, we often struggled to agree on a menu because everyone's tastes differed — but familiar Korean dishes like bulgogi and hot pot are relatively easy for everyone to agree on.

We ordered it for two, and from the moment the food arrived, the portion of meat surprised us — quite generous. With bulgogi, the quality of the meat itself matters more than just a strong seasoning flavor, and tasting it, the beef quality was satisfying.

The hot pot came with all kinds of vegetables mixed in, so it was good to alternate between meat and veggies. At first we cooked the generously piled bulgogi, and as the broth started boiling and the vegetable and meat flavors blended together, it got more and more fun to eat as an actual hot pot toward the end.

The side dishes that came standard were neat and well made, one by one. It's not just the main dish that's generous — the banchan (side dishes) round it out into a full table spread, so it makes for a hearty, filling meal.

They give you bread and toppings so you can make a bulgogi burger, haha. It was fun to enjoy the meal in different ways.

You crack it in and mix it together ,, 🙂 The portion was so generous that the bulgogi hot pot set alone was completely filling. This would especially suit anyone looking for a hearty Incheon bulgogi restaurant in Hagik-dong.

Dessert naengmyeon and omija tea to finish

Toward the end of the meal, we also had the dessert naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). After the warm, sweet bulgogi, finishing with cool naengmyeon was great. Even though we were already full, somehow the naengmyeon still fit.

At the very end, they brought out omija tea too, so it felt like we'd been taken care of from start to finish, like a course meal. The meal wasn't just meat and done — it flowed from bulgogi and vegetables to side dishes, dessert naengmyeon, and omija tea, making it much more filling than we expected.

Is Dongchuwon Bulgogi worth a visit?

I visited Dongchuwon Bulgogi in Hagik-dong wanting a proper Korean meal, and the beef quality was good — cooking it as a hot pot with all the vegetables meant it never got boring, right to the end. Between the neat side dishes, the dessert naengmyeon, and the omija tea, I left completely full.

If you're looking for somewhere to take your parents, an Incheon family gathering spot, or an Incheon private-room restaurant for group dining, I'd recommend Dongchuwon Bulgogi. The parking support also made things much easier for us since we came by car.
