Euljiro 1-ga burger restaurant with Michelin-trained chefs: Daily Fix

Today I want to share my review of a recent visit to a hot spot for handmade burgers in Euljiro: Daily Fix Euljiro.

It's the kind of place that comes to mind when you want a proper meal in the middle of your day. From the outside it looked like a plain, tidy diner, but one bite in I was more impressed than expected, so I'm writing this post in a good mood.

Inside Daily Fix Euljiro: New York diner mood and Michelin chef know-how

Daily Fix Euljiro is the third location after the Gangnam flagship and Seocho-gyodae branches, and it's a stylish space that seems to bring New York diner energy straight over. I heard you can taste handmade burgers built on the long know-how of chefs who trained at Michelin 3-star Per Se and 2-star Momofuku Ko, so my expectations were high before I even walked in.

During the day, it's bathed in relaxed sunlight, perfect for a leisurely lunch, and in the evening it switches to soft lighting that's ideal with a beer. It's also a 3-minute walk from Euljiro 1-ga Station, sitting between Mugyo-dong and Da-dong, so accessibility is great.

If you're driving to Daily Fix Euljiro, it helps to check the building and nearby parking info ahead of time. Diners get 30 minutes of free parking as standard.

What we ordered at Daily Fix Euljiro, and how it tasted

On this visit to Daily Fix Euljiro, we went with a combo of onion rings, a cheeseburger, and thick-cut fries.

The hanwoo patty cheeseburger and its pillowy bun

It might look plain and understated from the outside, but the moment I picked up the bun, I was genuinely surprised. It was so, so pillowy and soft — the texture really stood out. Made with a 100% hanwoo (Korean beef) patty prepared fresh every morning, it had deep juiciness and flavor, and the harmony with the cheese was amazing.

Thick-cut fries

They were so hot they were still steaming, freshly fried. The thickness was overwhelming — I don't think I'd ever seen fries that thick — and the texture was amazing, crispy outside and fluffy inside.

Onion rings

Crispy on the outside with the onion's natural sweetness still alive, they were a perfect match with the burger.

The combination of cheeseburger, onion rings, and fries was so perfect we cleared it all in no time. This round was such a success that next time I plan to try other burgers too, like the signature pastrami sandwich or the bacon cheeseburger.

Daily Fix Euljiro is within a 10-minute walk of major Seoul landmarks like Euljiro 1-ga Station, Jonggak, Cheonggyecheon, Seoul City Hall, and Myeongdong Cathedral, making it a strongly recommended spot for a date course or for office workers' lunch and dinner gatherings.
