Sushi platter and crab guts bibimbap lunch at Moshi Moshi Sushi, Nampo, Busan
In short
Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Department Store Gwangbok is a Japanese restaurant on the 10th floor of the main building at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok in Jung-gu, Busan. A Naver reservation for noon lunch meant no wait for the assorted sushi set C (₩27,000) and crab guts bibimbap (₩19,000), with generously sized, fresh sushi and a bibimbap set that came with udon, salad and soup. The place was already packed by the time I arrived, so if you're eating lunch at Gwangbok, booking ahead is the way to go.

It's on the 10th floor of the department store, so I took the elevator up.

I'd made a Naver reservation ahead of time!! If you're planning to visit the Gwangbok location, book the day before so you can eat without waiting! I reserved for noon, and when I arrived every seat was already taken — good thing I booked ahead.

Seating is at 4-person tables and it was very clean. Best of all, the tables were spaced generously apart so we could chat comfortably.

Clean marble tabletops!! We sat down at our assigned table and ordered.
There are two-person sets, full-course menus, and à la carte items, and the offerings feel solid. Orders are placed via tablet.

It comes with 10 pieces of sushi, tempura, salad, and soup — plated neatly, and the colorful sushi looked delicious, all the best types gathered into this assorted sushi set C.

Flounder, flounder belly, salmon, smoked salmon, bluefin tuna x2, abalone, shrimp, eel, and beef — 10 pieces in total. The variety was so solid and diverse there was nothing missing.

Above all, the slices were big and fresh. If you're looking for a good sushi restaurant among Nampo's Japanese spots, this is a really satisfying meal.

At first I was a bit disappointed there was no soy sauce, but it turned out the tempura was already seasoned. Crispy and warm, seemingly fried fresh — I ended up finishing every piece without realizing it.

The crab guts bibimbap comes with udon, salad, and soup, so it's a satisfying full meal on its own too.

The crab guts bibimbap tastes exactly as expected. It's not fishy at all, so it's great if you like crab guts.

The noodles were springy and packed with fried tofu skin, and the broth was so tasty. If you're looking for a good restaurant at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, give Moshi Moshi Sushi a try. Quality 👍🏻
