Today I'm sharing a mackerel pasta spot near Euljiro3-ga station!! I went to Pyu, a Western-style restaurant. It's a large 70-pyeong contemporary dining space in Euljiro, so it works for anything from a date spot to a family gathering.
You can also make a reservation through Naver, so I'd recommend booking ahead before you go⬇️
Where is Pyu Euljiro?
Pyu Euljiro is at 27 Mareunnae-ro, 1st floor unit 102, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's near Euljiro3-ga station, a transfer point for lines 2 and 3, so it's very accessible.
What's on the menu at Pyu Euljiro?

The signature menu item is the mackerel pasta, and beyond that they have bisque pasta and ragu pasta — types you don't easily find elsewhere, which made it feel extra special. For risottos there's truffle mushroom and garden tomato, and the mains include yuzu chicken thigh grill, seasonal fish steak, and striploin steak — all great menu options for setting the mood on a couple's date. With side dishes like fried eggplant, smashed potato, and fresh salad, it was a well-rounded Western restaurant in Euljiro.

You can't skip the drinks that go with Western food — beer, non-alcoholic drinks, ades, juices, sodas, coffee, and a full page of wine, the variety was huge.

There's also a set menu made for two people to try a variety of dishes together, so I'd especially recommend this to anyone looking for a date restaurant around Euljiro. I visited today for a cozy weekend date with my husband, just the two of us.
Pyu Euljiro's interior, seating and private partitioned tables

Pyu Euljiro is a newly opened restaurant, so everything looked brand new, clean, and tidy. The lighting was soft without being too dim, which I liked even more.

The large table placed in the center looked great for group gatherings too.

The table color wasn't a stark white tone but a soft beige, which made it look even more upscale and full of atmosphere.

Around the group table, most of the seating was set up as 4-person tables, which looked good for family gatherings or small get-togethers.

Past the central kitchen and along the hallway to the side, there was more seating further in.
The gaps between tables were really spacious, so it felt like an ideal restaurant for having a conversation over a meal without being disturbed.
In particular, the front-and-back spacing separated by fabric partitions gave a sense of privacy, which made those seats even nicer.

I visited after making a Naver reservation. I really loved the note left at the reserved table with my name and some warm words on it.
Here, please stay as your most comfortable self.
That part left an impression on me. It felt like a restaurant that wants to give you a moment to pause from a busy daily life and enjoy delicious food in a space that feels like a perfect rest, which made me like it even more ♥
How the mackerel pasta and garden tomato risotto tasted

My husband and I ordered the mackerel pasta, garden tomato risotto, the Neomsabyeok beer, and the non-alcoholic Gyururalla.

The Neomsabyeok beer is an IPA rich in citrus, grapefruit, and pine notes, with a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. The Gyururalla I chose is a low-sugar, refreshing non-alcoholic drink with mandarin, yuzu, and lemongrass — easy to drink without any guilt.

Paired with the mackerel pasta and tomato risotto we ordered, it was a great combination.

The garden tomato risotto was impressive right from the clean plating. The taste was also clean and mild rather than sharp, and I enjoyed it a lot.

It had eggplant in it too, so the texture was nice.

And the one my husband and I enjoyed the most — the mackerel pasta!!

It's an oil pasta with marinated mackerel and a mild yet spicy, refreshing kick — a pasta that would please pretty much anyone!!

The mackerel itself was especially meaty and delicious, to the point I wanted to order the grilled mackerel separately as an extra. After we finished eating, my husband said on the way out that the mackerel pasta was really good and that he wanted to have it again haha. The staff were also really friendly, and I got to enjoy a great meal in a clean, tidy space, so my intention to come back is 100%!!
