I went with the Yakisoba Set (₩18,000), basic yakisoba plus 5 pieces of mentaiko gyoza. It's discounted compared to ordering à la carte separately, so the set is definitely the better deal haha

What the 18,000 won yakisoba set tastes like

After about 10 minutes of waiting, the freshly made yakisoba set arrived, smelling amazing. The subtle sweet-salty scent of teriyaki sauce mixed with the savory aroma of crispy fried dumplings really got my appetite going 🤤

Mentaiko gyoza, 5 pieces: crisp outside, juicy inside

The golden-fried mentaiko gyoza (pollack roe dumplings) come 5 to an order, and just looking at them you can tell they're super crispy lol

I picked one up with my chopsticks and took a bite — the outside was completely crisp, and the filling was packed with meat and mentaiko (pollack roe), so with every chew the meaty juices and salty roe flavor filled my mouth. Truly crispy outside, tender inside...!!! 😭 I'm officially calling this a must-eat near Suwon Station AK Plaza ㅠ

The tobiko mayo sauce that makes the gyoza

What completes the flavor of this mentaiko gyoza is the tobiko (flying fish roe) mayo sauce served alongside. Dipping the crispy gyoza generously into this sauce adds a creamy softness to the crunch, and the tobiko popping in your mouth is genuinely delicious lol

Basic yakisoba: the noodles and what's mixed in

The main dish, Jojo yakisoba, has the teriyaki sauce soaked right into the noodles, giving it that addictive sweet-and-savory flavor! The noodles aren't overcooked — they stay springy and chewy haha

It's not just noodles — there's plenty of filling mixed in too. Crisp cabbage, savory pork, and chewy squid legs all combine so every bite has good texture and flavor. Eating it together with the red pickled ginger garnish on top was especially nice — the ginger's sharp kick cuts through the slight richness that's typical of yakisoba.

There was a Naver receipt review event going on that got me a free drink too, so I finished it off with a zero-sugar cola 〰️
