I went to Anguk again after a while today! You've gotta come to Anguk at least once in the fall. And if you're in Anguk, you've gotta hit up a restaurant with great vibes!!!

I visited around 1pm on a weekday and there were about 8 teams waiting. Everyone out here on a weekday too...!? (well, what am I even doing here). Even the exterior already has this stylish, cool vibe — Low Five felt like some restaurant abroad, haha.
Ah❗️❗️ You can join the remote waiting list through CatchTable, so it's a good idea to put your name down in advance!
Still, we got seated pretty quickly! The interior was buzzing but had a totally date-worthy vibe. Lots of couples, and at the long tables, groups of young people were eating together.
What two people ordered at Low Five Anguk, and how QR ordering works
At Low Five Anguk you order through a QR code at the table. For two people, we ordered a half-and-half pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, baguette, and an ade.
All the pastas looked so good that I agonized the whole subway ride to Anguk... briefly considered getting kimchi fried rice too... but we're both small eaters so we gave up 🥺. Moments like this make me wish my stomach could stretch.
The ade we ordered came out first. Refreshing and sweet with tons of carbonation — great! When you're eating Western food it can get heavy sometimes, so you need the fizz to cut through it . That way you can eat more, haha.
Alfredo cream pasta, 18,000 won: how spicy is it?
Next came the Alfredo cream pasta (₩18,000), which arrived quickly. It's topped with thick bacon, so you cut it up with a knife and eat it with the noodles! The menu description said it had a spicy base, but I didn't really taste much spice. Just a delicious creamy flavor overall!
The baguette was ₩2,000 for 4 pieces. I ordered it because I wanted to dip it in the pasta sauce. It was solid, nothing fancy but nice.
Half-and-half pizza, 27,000 won: corn and taco, cilantro left out
For the half-and-half pizza (₩27,000) we picked corn and taco. We're not big fans of cilantro, so we went with no cilantro. The pizza looked amazing!!! Looking at these photos makes me want to eat it again...
Here's a tip! Hot sauce and cheese powder for the pizza are available separately at the self-serve bar. Just grab as much as you want and top it off yourself, haha.
Chewy dough with cheese stretching everywhere — totally delicious...

Hahahaha, if that's the reaction after one bite, you can't even imagine how good it was ㅠㅠ
The corn pizza had a sweet, addictive flavor! For the taco pizza, you're supposed to squeeze the lime on top, but it ends up being surprisingly spicy, haha. The heat creeps up slowly and gets stronger and stronger. (A little caution for spice-sensitive folks!) Still, both flavors were really enjoyable!
The Alfredo cream pasta had shrimp and grilled bacon in it, so the texture was great and it tasted so good we scraped the plate clean, haha.

Dipping the 2,000-won baguette, and why vongole is next
We put some pasta on top of the baguette and ate it that way. The cream was so good... I think you should definitely order this baguette if you get the vongole pasta. Dipping baguette in oil-based sauce is just the truth. Next time I have to get the vongole.
Is Low Five Anguk worth it for a date in Anguk?
Low Five Anguk was a casual restaurant great for enjoying a variety of dishes together. My friend said it's a restaurant she'd want to come back to, haha. I'm also 100% planning to return whenever I'm in Anguk! If you're looking for a great-vibe restaurant or date spot in Anguk, I recommend Low Five Anguk!
