I’ve had so many stressful things going on lately that my sugar levels have been crashing all the time. So I was dying for a fluffy soufflé that melts in your mouth and sweet-tart fruit desserts, and after digging through Instagram, I went to Think Fruit, a Hongdae dessert café famous for its soufflés and parfaits!!

From the looks to the flavor, everything was seriously lethal—it felt like all the stress of real life was melting away in sweetness while I ate, haha. If you love soufflés or parfaits, you have to come try the Hongdae soufflé here!
Think Fruit location and visitor information near Hongik University Station
It’s open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:00. There’s no dedicated parking, so I recommend using a nearby public lot! It’s really close to the station—just duck into a side street and you’ll spot it right away. Tucked slightly inside the alley, it wasn’t overly noisy and was perfect for an intimate conversation, haha. Turn on your map and even someone with zero sense of direction can find it easily, so accessibility is very good!
A clean, stylish Hongdae dessert café atmosphere

Even before going inside, the exterior décor was so pretty.

A sweet, tangy fruit scent drifted through the air, and the whole mood was giving total dessert heaven.

No wonder it’s one of the hot cafés near Hongik University Station for fruit desserts, haha.
Inside the café

The moment you walk in, the clean, warm interior catches your eye! It has that perfect Instagram vibe, haha. I also liked that the seats weren’t crammed together, and the café was very clean and tidy.
There are window seats with a bit of a terrace feel, plus lots of seats facing the windows that are great for cozy chats. I think it would be amazing for anyone seeking a café with a nice atmosphere in Hongdae or coming on a date.

We went on a weekday afternoon, but it was nearly full of people there for dessert, and later there was even a wait. That really made me realize this is a seriously popular Hongdae dessert café, hahaha. Natural sunlight pours in too, so selfies turn out insanely well.
Think Fruit menu and what we ordered
Here’s the Think Fruit menu! Looking at it, I almost lost my mind... From Hongdae soufflé pancakes loaded with seasonal fruit to gleaming Hongdae parfaits, doesn’t the lineup look gorgeous?? The peach soufflé was ₩22,000, the fig soufflé was ₩20,000, and the peach and fig parfaits were ₩19,800 each. We skipped lunch that day and came with a bit of a brunch mindset, so we ordered all the signature items.

We ordered three things: the peach parfait, fig soufflé, and salted-cream milk tea, one of the best-selling drinks!

But seriously, the amount of fruit for the dessert prices was enormous (;;), so I officially recognize this as a great-value Hongdae soufflé café... Legendary value, for real.
Greek yogurt parfait inside a whole peach

The peach parfait finally arrived... The visual was just pure violence, hahaha. A whole peach sits right on top of the parfait glass, and it wasn’t a firm peach—it was totally ripe and juicy. Ahhh. Soft-peach fans, gather round~~
Slice the peach open and it is packed with rich, nutty Greek yogurt ㅠㅠ This was seriously ridiculously delicious. It was my first time having Greek yogurt inside a whole peach, and it was insanely good. You absolutely have to order it, please.
Sweet, juicy peach, thick Greek yogurt, crunchy cereal underneath, and refreshing ice-cream layers—every bite was so good that I kept exclaiming as I ate, hahaha. It isn’t artificial sweetness but the fruit’s natural sweetness, making it addictive enough to keep reaching for more!
Seasonal fig soufflé pancakes
Next was the fig soufflé, full of seasonal vibes!! Since this place is known for Hongdae soufflés, this was what I was most excited for. And seriously, jiggle the plate and it dances, haha. Maybe because figs are in season right now, they were at peak sweetness and so delicious!
The soufflé was so pillowy and soft, disappearing the instant it hit my mouth. Add heaps of sweet seasonal figs and even Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream to the warm Hongdae soufflé batter, then eat it all together...? You simply ascend to heaven, hahaha.
The cloudlike softness paired beautifully with the tiny crunch of fig seeds, and I scraped the plate completely clean to the last bite! There was so much fruit too, so I was totally satisfied with the value of this Hongdae soufflé.
The seriously delicious salted-cream milk tea
Salted-cream milk tea was said to be one of the best drinks, so I ordered it on a nothing-to-lose basis. But omg... it was so delicious ㅠㅠ A thick layer of chewy, salty cream sits on top, then rich, sweet milk tea comes through behind it—the sweet-and-salty balance is legendary.
The milk tea’s black-tea aroma was also incredibly deep and rich, with seriously luxurious flavor. It tastes like it could beat most specialty milk-tea shops. With the fluffy Hongdae soufflé, too.
My ranking of Think Fruit recommendations
Based on what I tried, here is my completely subjective ranking.
- No. 1: Peach parfait — the overwhelming visual is undeniable, and Greek yogurt inside a whole peach is a crazy-good combination.
- No. 2: Fig soufflé — seasonal figs + Häagen-Dazs ice cream + pillowy soufflé; what more needs to be said~??
- No. 3: Salted-cream milk tea — the definition of sweet-and-salty, with exceptionally refined milk tea!
From the fruit-juice-exploding parfait to the life-changing-level salted-cream milk tea, this combination was completely amazing. I highly recommend this exact lineup, haha. The fruit was so fresh and the soufflé was big, making this a great-value Hongdae soufflé spot where the price did not feel wasteful at all—if anything, it felt generous.
What I loved about Think Fruit
- Fresh-fruit visuals with no holding back: They use generous amounts of fresh premium fruit, including whole peaches and seasonal figs, nailing both looks and flavor..! There were seriously stacks of fruit boxes inside the café, haha.
- Perfect soufflé-batter texture: No eggy smell at all—this is a top Hongdae soufflé pancake spot for its ultra-pillowy texture that melts away softly.
- Luxurious dessert combinations: Maybe because they use premium ingredients such as Häagen-Dazs ice cream, Greek yogurt, and salted cream, the desserts’ quality is no joke.
- Comfortable, clean café: Among cafés near Hongik University Station, it has such a cozy atmosphere for dates or chatting!
I came to Think Fruit, this Hongdae dessert café, without big expectations because I just wanted a light soufflé lunch, but it exceeded them and left me so satisfied!! If you are looking for a proper Hongdae parfait spot or planning a Hongdae date course, definitely visit Think Fruit!
