Reserved seats for Nanchuk Matdon black pork, Pork80 Jeju Airport

In short

Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a black pork charcoal grill restaurant in Jeju City, about a 15-minute drive from Jeju Airport. On a second visit, reserved seating was secured for premium Nanchuk Matdon pork alongside yeolmu noodles (chilled radish green noodles) and Pork Rice, with a staff member grilling everything from start to finish over bincheotan charcoal. Between the matcha salt and mel jeot dipping combos and 3 hours of free parking, there was every reason to come back.

Black pork is a must-eat whenever I travel to Jeju!!!! I wanted to introduce a restaurant that genuinely became one of my favorite meat spots ever — this was actually my second visit~

15 minutes from Jeju Airport by car: location and parking

It's located near Jeju Airport, so it's great if you're looking for good food near Jeju Airport. I actually headed straight here after landing! It's only about 15 minutes from the airport by car~ There's a dedicated parking lot too, and 3 hours are covered, so no pressure there.

They're open from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM, so it works whether you're stopping by for lunch or dinner!

The charcoal visible right at the entrance,, my appetite was already kicking in.

An interior that even had reserved seating ready

Walking inside, you're greeted by a clean, stylish interior. None of that greasy, stuffy feeling you sometimes get at BBQ places — everything's kept really pleasant, so it'd work well for a date or a gathering with friends. The table spacing was comfortable and the staff greeted us warmly and energetically, so I settled in feeling great.

Since I'd made a reservation, they had a reserved table all set up for me! Such a thoughtful touch~~~

Nanchuk Matdon, yeolmu noodles, and Pork Rice

Pork80 has a really solid menu lineup. There are your standard grilled cuts, but the clear standout is the premium breed, Nanchuk Matdon!!!!!!!!!! I'd heard it has more intramuscular fat than regular pork, meaning way more flavor, so this time I ordered it without hesitation. I also rounded things out with yeolmu noodles (chilled radish green noodles) as a side and Pork Rice for something filling.

Side dish spread including seasoned crab

Even the side dishes were on point at this black pork spot in Jeju City,, this is exactly why I came back!! Having seasoned crab as a side dish too was such a nice bonus~~

And here comes the gorgeous Nanchuk Matdon!!

Grilled by staff, start to finish, over bincheotan charcoal

Once you order the meat, a high-heat bincheotan charcoal grill is brought over, and the thick-cut Nanchuk Matdon goes right on top.

A staff member grills it skillfully from start to finish, so all we had to do was relax and watch it cook.

Perfectly grilled black pork from the grilling service

Seriously grilled to perfection.. and apparently this grilling service is only offered if you order the Nanchuk Matdon!

Mel jeot and side vegetables served alongside

I really loved that Pork80 also serves mel jeot (fermented anchovy sauce), a condiment you can especially enjoy in Jeju

Once the meat is perfectly cooked, they plate it up nicely for you like this~ All we had to do was eat.. so convenient and so nice

Mushrooms grilled in meat fat alongside the pork

And honestly, what I really loved was••• they grilled the mushrooms in the meat fat too, cooking them just as deliciously. Mushrooms matter just as much as the meat!!!!!

The flavor combo of matcha salt, wasabi, and mel jeot

They recommended dipping the first bite in their special matcha salt, so I dabbed just the salt on and popped it in my mouth — and yeah, you could really taste the juiciness and the flavor!!!

The golden-brown grilled meat with wasabi is another combo you can't skip. The meat was so tender and chewy, it was incredible. Crispy on the outside, packed with juice on the inside, it just melted in my mouth. Adding in the chewy skin part made the texture completely perfect.

Eating it with mel jeot and chives is also so~ good! This combo is the strongest ;;

Finishing with yeolmu noodles and Pork Rice

After enjoying the meat for a while, we cleansed our palates with the cool, spicy yeolmu noodles. There were little ice flakes floating in the broth, making it super refreshing and tangy, and wrapping the leftover meat in it to eat together was pure honey! It cuts through the richness of the meat so cleanly, there's no better way to finish the meal.

Pork Rice eaten as the finishing dish

The Pork Rice we ordered alongside it was also hearty and paired beautifully with the meat, letting us finish the meal full and happy down to the last bite. Pro tip! Add three spoonfuls of mel jeot in there and it's super tasty~~

Proof shot of cleaning my plate at this black pork restaurant in Jeju City. So good, so good. This is exactly why I came back, right?

Just mention it at checkout to get your parking ticket. The parking lot was really spacious too!!
