I'd visited a different Bass Burger branch before, but this time I went to the Sinyongsan location! Once you've actually tasted a proper burger, you just know why it's called handmade. Bass Burger is already famous with lots of branches, so if there's one near you, definitely go try it!

So today I headed to Yongridan-gil again, even though Yongsan doesn't hold the best memories for me (well, I'm fine with it, but my boyfriend, haha...). It's close to Yongsan Station too, so browsing the Lotte Mall at Yongsan Station and then crossing over to Yongridan-gil is honestly the best combo.

Where is Bass Burger Sinyongsan, and what is Yongridan-gil like?

Bass Burger Sinyongsan sits at 1F, 11 Hangang-daero 46-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, right on Yongridan-gil. Yongridan-gil is already hip and famous, with plenty to do. Perfect for a burger lunch followed by more wandering around.

The weather's warming up, but Bass Burger Sinyongsan had the AC cranked up nice and cold. It was a bit humid that day, so walking in and immediately feeling that blast of cool air was great, great.

Chicken and beer: the two chicken platters

Bass Burger Sinyongsan also has two chicken platters that go great with beer: the Buffalo wing platter at ₩16,000 and the crunch chicken platter at ₩22,000.

Being able to enjoy chicken alongside beer was such a nice surprise! I came just for burgers, but this was pretty tempting. As someone who loves Buffalo wings, I was thrilled.

How the tartar chicken burger and Hawaiian burger taste (cucumber warning)

The chicken burger, Hawaiian burger, cheese bar and sweet potato fries all came out on one table.

Simply delicious chicken, and oh right — it had pickles in it. My boyfriend hates cucumber so he picked them out and gave them to me, but just so you know, there are pickles in there! If you're not a fan of cucumber, take note (I personally love cucumbers, but people who hate them might not — check in advance).

The Hawaiian burger lets you enjoy a bunch of flavors at once, and I know some people don't like Hawaiian-style food? But I love it! I also love Hawaiian pizza, hehe. The grilled pineapple was delicious.

Sweet potato fries: essential! Cheese bar: essential! The sweet potato fries were, as expected, delicious, and do you all know this trick? Sprinkling a little salt over the fries and eating them like that is ridiculously, insanely good~~~~~~~~~~

The cheese bar is already famous, so — it's a cheese bar coated in plenty of red chili sauce! For the cheese to stretch properly, you all should eat it while it's still hot, heh.

Craft beer with your burger at Bass Burger Sinyongsan

Finishing it off with beer is the unspoken rule. Burgers and beer just go together so well, right? Right, right, right, right, right. If you're an adult, it's beer over cola, drinking kukuku.
