Kiosk-order solo combo at Hyeonseonine, a Yongsan bunsik spot
In short
Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a bunsik (Korean street-food) restaurant on Yongridan-gil in Yongsan, Seoul, 180m from Exit 6 of Sinyongsan Station and occupying a whole building. Dining solo, the writer ordered the Hyeonseonine Combo (26,000 won) at the kiosk by the entrance and it arrived all at once: tteokbokki, mini gimbap (seaweed rice rolls), sundae (blood sausage), organ meat, squiggly fish cake and four kinds of fritters, with the leftovers packed to go. The tteokbokki is mild and easy to like, and the solo seats are comfortable enough to make Hyeonseonine worth a return visit.

Where is Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch? 180m from Sinyongsan Station Exit 6
Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is at 2-13 Hangang-daero 39-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea, just 180m from Exit 6 of Sinyongsan Station. It's open daily from 11:00 to 24:00, with last order at 22:40.

Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a Yongridan-gil restaurant in Yongsan where you can get tteokbokki and all kinds of bunsik (Korean street food)! Besides tteokbokki, they have a huge range of fritters, sundae (blood sausage), and gimbap (seaweed rice roll) ready — perfect for a quick drink, a full meal, or just a snack!!

How to order at Hyeonseonine: the kiosk by the entrance
Here's the Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch menu — swipe through. You order at the kiosk right at the entrance. Every menu item has a picture, and there's everything from single dishes to side dishes to full set combos — I loved that!

What comes in the 26,000 won Hyeonseonine Combo
I ordered the Hyeonseonine Combo (26,000 won) set. The dishes came out fast right after ordering! It's a mix of tteokbokki, gimbap, sundae, sundae organ meat, fish cake, and fritters — genuinely filling and so delicious ㅠㅠ I came alone but wanted to try everything, so I ate what I could and packed the rest to go~

The tteokbokki: mild and easy to like
Here comes the tteokbokki!! Honestly, this place deserves recognition as a tteokbokki spot. The sauce isn't overly spicy or strong — it's that crowd-pleasing flavor everyone can enjoy! Both the tteokbokki and fish cake come in generous portions, so tasty you keep going back for more~

Squiggly fish cake in the combo
Here comes the squiggly fish cake~ You get three pieces, and the fish cake is so wonderfully chewy! The broth is amazing too ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Definitely a place I want to visit again!!

Four kinds of fritters
The fritters include kimmari (seaweed noodle roll), squid, vegetable, and sweet potato. The kimmari and squid need no explanation, but the vegetable one is my pick!!!! The sweet potato is plain on its own, but dipped in the tteokbokki sauce it wasn't dry at all and tasted great! No oily smell either, so I kept reaching for more! Also try dipping it in soy sauce instead of the tteokbokki broth~

Mini gimbap (seaweed rice rolls)
For the gimbap, mini gimbap comes out~ Perfect for a picnic too!

Sundae (blood sausage) and organ meat
The sundae plate comes with both sundae and organ meat, no gamey taste at all — genuinely delicious! Great even on its own. This is truly a Yongridan-gil bunsik must-visit. Really, really, really!

Next time I want to come back for beer along with the tteok-twi-sun-gim-o set (tteokbokki, fritters, sundae, gimbap, fish cake)!
Hyeonseonine is also a bit of a celebrity spot — lots of TV shows and celebrities have visited haha.

Is Hyeonseonine good for solo dining?
Let me show you the inside of this Yongridan-gil favorite, Hyeonseonine Yongsan. The whole building is taken up by Hyeonseonine! It has a pojangmacha (street tent bar) feel, but the atmosphere is really great~ High ceilings, clean and comfortable, with a variety of seating — great for eating solo too!

The counter at Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch. Both the staff and the owner were so kind — I ate well and left in a really good mood.

Self-serve bar, restroom and review event at Hyeonseonine
You can freely help yourself to side dishes at the self-serve bar. The restroom is located inside the store. Join the review event and get perks while dining at Hyeonseonine. There's even a cute gacha machine right at the entrance!

That was Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch, a must-visit spot in Yongsan and Yongridan-gil.
