Yangsan restaurant with sous vide chicken thigh pilaf: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a Western restaurant on the first basement floor of Oslo Park near Namyangsan Station in Yangsan, Gyeongnam. At 7pm on a weekday, the Kung Pao chicken pilaf (22,000 won) and the signature jambon pizza (24,000 won) — both sold out on an earlier visit — arrived in about 10 minutes, and the sous vide whole chicken thigh on the pilaf was tender with a mild kick of heat. Parking was easy too, with 2 hours covered in the Oslo Park basement lot.

Inside Bueokgan on the first basement floor of Oslo Park
Bueokgan in Yangsan is located on the basement floor of Oslo Park. Since it's underground, I first worried it might feel a bit stuffy, but Oslo Park's central ceiling is wide open above, so there was zero closed-in feeling haha.

Also, if you come out of the Oslo Park basement parking lot and walk straight ahead, Bueokgan is right there on the left, so it was easy to find.

The interior is decorated with a red floor and a European-style arched structure — even on my repeat visit, it felt distinctive the moment I walked in.

The seating isn't all one mood — each section has a slightly different feel, from group tables to colorful chairs kids would love, so it looked great for family gatherings or group meetups. It's a solid spot near Namyangsan Station for bringing kids or grabbing lunch.

There are also classic-style decor touches scattered around, so there was as much fun in looking as there was in eating, haha.

Looks like a great-vibe lunch spot near Namyangsan Station just from the photos, right? To match the European interior, pop songs play softly in the background, and the atmosphere isn't noisy at all, so it felt like being at an upscale restaurant +_+
Where do you park at Bueokgan Restaurant?
Bueokgan Restaurant offers 2 hours of free parking at the Oslo Park basement lot. The lot is easy to find if you head toward Yangsan Yurim Norway Forest — there's a visitor-only parking lot on the right side of the entrance to Yurim Norway Forest apartments. This is the parking info for the Oslo Park location near Namyangsan Station.

I visited around 7pm on a weekday and there was plenty of parking available. Recommended if you're looking for parking near Namyangsan Station.

Ordering the Kung Pao chicken pilaf and jambon pizza at 7pm

Before the food came out, the cutlery was set up like this. A nice restaurant for a lunch date near Namyangsan Station, right?

I ordered the jambon pizza and the Kung Pao chicken pilaf, and it took about 10 minutes for them to arrive. The food came out faster than I expected, so the wait wasn't long at all haha.

Jambon pizza topped with honey and pistachio
I ate the jambon pizza first before it got cold, haha. It's a pizza baked with jambon (ham) on top, finished with honey and pistachio.

You can see it in the photo, right?? It was drizzled generously with honey, making it soft and sweet +_+ There was also plenty of salty jambon piled on, which kept me reaching for another slice haha. I get why the jambon pizza is the signature dish! (Highly recommend 👍)

Kung Pao chicken pilaf with a sous vide whole chicken thigh
And here it is! This is the Kung Pao chicken pilaf I couldn't get last time because it was sold out.

On top of the Kung Pao chicken pilaf sits a sous vide whole chicken thigh, and it was about the size of a palm 👍🤤

Since one person couldn't hog something this good all to themselves... I cut it up evenly to share, and because it was sous vide, the meat was tender enough that cutting it was easy too. As I kept eating, it turned out to be subtly spicy, which paired really well with the rice ?_?
That said, it's not aggressively spicy — it was just the right level to cleanse the palate right when the Western dishes started feeling a bit rich.
Is Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park worth a weekday dinner?
- ✅ Good lunch spot in Yangsan for coming with kids
- ✅ Great Western restaurant for a date near Namyangsan Station

On this return visit to Bueokgan, I finally got to try the Kung Pao chicken pilaf that was sold out last time — and it was delicious enough that I understood exactly why it sold out.. 💖 I'm planning to bring my friends here next time. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, so I think everyone would like it.
