Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu
What kind of place is this shabu kalguksu spot near Munhyeon Station?
It's so good value that it's always packed with customers! The kalguksu noodles are chewy, making it even more perfect on a rainy day. I recommend it for the house-made shabu kalguksu and crispy seafood pajeon (savory pancake) you get at such a great price~
They also support parking, which is great! 2 hours free~

Unlimited kimchi and kkakdugi at the self-serve bar
The kimchi and kkakdugi are so tasty, and it's great that they're unlimited! There's a self-serve bar, and honestly the kkakdugi and kimchi here are amazing~ I got to eat plenty of kimchi that's good for the body!

The ₩11,000-per-person set
The menu board. For ₩11,000 per person you get sirloin shabu-shabu, mushrooms, house-made kalguksu, and even fried rice — the value is amazing. It's a price anyone can enjoy without feeling burdened. In this era of high prices, this price feels like a real revolution. Shall we dig into the delicious food?

Here's what I had at Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu, the Munhyeon-dong favorite~
Shabu kalguksu (sirloin, vegetables/mushrooms, house-made kalguksu, fried rice)
This is what I ate! It's really great to enjoy good ingredients from all over the country in one set, at such a fair price~
The sirloin you dip into the shabu-shabu is U.S. Choice-grade chuck eye round and Australian S-grade beef, using only recently butchered meat, so there's no gamey smell, it's not tough, and it's so delicious!

They also give you fried rice. The portion is big enough to fill you up completely~ The fragrant minari (water celery) aroma and the savory depth of the spicy broth soak into the rice, and once it's fried up it's seriously delicious~

The house-made kalguksu noodles
It's also special that the noodles are house-made. The texture is springy, hearty but chewy — so delicious!

How is it as a family meal or date spot?
It's great for family meals and couple's dates too. The atmosphere is nice and the food is amazing~

I recommend it as a family meal spot. Shabu-shabu is a flavor everyone loves, and they even have baby chairs!

Kimchi made from a Mokpo kimchi master's recipe
The kimchi and kkakdugi at Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu, the Munhyeon-dong favorite, are so delicious! The owner personally sought out kimchi masters across the country and learned this recipe from a kimchi master in Mokpo, which is what makes it especially delicious and special~

Simmering it up deliciously~ Since it's a spot beloved by Munhyeon-dong locals, lots of people were eating comfortably!
Put in the delicious meat and enjoy it as shabu-shabu~ Since they're open every day, it's good and great value whenever you visit!
Enjoy the meat, mushrooms, and minari deliciously~ It's a Munhyeon-dong Korean restaurant favorite!

The meat is so delicious too! The texture is fresh and tender, which I loved~

The meat at Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu, the Munhyeon-dong favorite, is tender and savory, so I ate it all without any burden.
The kalguksu tasted even better with the kimchi! They make it fresh every day with Korean-grown napa cabbage, which makes it even tastier! The kimchi was so good I kept refilling and eating more~

Finishing with fried rice, plus an egg add-on
Enjoying the fried rice deliciously too~ Since the broth itself is so tasty, the fried rice is delicious too, so I ate happily and full right to the end. I highly recommend Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu, the Munhyeon-dong favorite!
I ordered an extra egg, cracked it open, and enjoyed it deliciously~

In summary
From shabu-shabu to house-made kalguksu, delicious fried rice, and kimchi! It was all so good I felt full and satisfied the whole meal. And the price is so reasonable too~
The interior has a clean, café-like white tone, so it looks stylish too.
