Today I'm bringing you a genuine, self-paid review of a real find near Sindorim Station — Sindorim Sambaekga (신도림삼백가), where I finally had proper bossam (boiled pork wrap) and makguksu (buckwheat cold noodles)!

The meat quality felt genuinely premium, and it was still such great value for money.

It's on the first floor of a building packed with other shops, but a big standing signboard out front made it easy to spot.

The signboard mentioned Sangju yakgampork bossam, 100% fresh handmade kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), jokbal (pig's trotters) made by a Chosun Hotel chef, and handmade persimmon kimchi.

Even before stepping inside, I could feel the owner's pride.
A clean interior and a generous set menu

Inside, the interior was clean and pleasant. There were a lot of customers, but luckily we got seated right away with no wait!

Customers kept streaming in even as we left after 9pm, confirming this really is a well-known neighborhood favorite.
We ordered the samback bossam (large) + makguksu set (₩50,000). It comes with the large bossam plus makguksu included, and the price was so reasonable that I loved it right away.
Satisfying side dishes to whet the appetite

After ordering, the banchan (side dishes) were neatly set out. The basic spread:

Wrap vegetables (lettuce, perilla leaves), chili, garlic, chive salad, dried radish strips, handmade persimmon kimchi, and 3 kinds of sauce.

The cold appetizer meat that came out first was tangy and refreshing — perfect for whetting the appetite before the main course!

It already tasted like the bossam was going to be great!

The chive salad had just the right amount of chili flakes, and the sweet dried radish strips and fresh wrap vegetables were also great.

But the handmade persimmon kimchi was seriously amazing. The umami and gentle sweetness paired so well with the meat that I instantly understood why the owner was so proud of it!
Melt-in-your-mouth samback bossam and sweet-and-sour makguksu

The samback bossam arrived, made with patented raw yakgampork and mulberry leaf powder.

They set it on a burner over low heat so it stayed warm right to the last bite.

Look at how much bossam there was!

The fat-to-lean ratio was just right, and it was incredibly tender.
Wrapping a piece of meat with garlic sauce, chili and garlic in the fresh wrap vegetables was truly amazing, T_T.
Completely tender and fantastic!
The portion was so generous you could grab two pieces at a time without feeling self-conscious! Sindorim Sambaekga is now my go-to for bossam!
Thanks to the steam from the burner, it stayed moist all the way through.

The makguksu that came with the set was also loaded with vegetables and a generous portion.

Wrapping a piece of bossam pork in the sweet-and-sour makguksu noodles was the tastiest combo, haha.

Even as a set, the portions were huge.

If any banchan ran low, it was nice being able to just grab more from the self-serve bar.
Free barley rice at the self-serve bar and dessert
By the way, the self-serve bar also has a free barley rice service (yeolmu + gochujang + sesame oil) exclusively for kalguksu customers!
And on the way out, we even got cold orange juice for dessert — I was really impressed by the owner's thoughtfulness.
Final verdict ✨

With the tender meat from the patented raw yakgampork, plus the handmade persimmon kimchi and makguksu, this was a truly perfect bossam restaurant.

With a generous spread and thoughtful dessert service for just ₩50,000, I highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a proper bossam restaurant near Sindorim!
