In short
Jam Jam is a brunch café on the basement level of 24 Seongmisan-ro 29-gil in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, open until 22:00 on weekdays and 21:00 on weekends. Arriving after 8pm, the writer ordered the seasonal fruit French toast (fig), an iced vanilla latte and an iced chocolate milk at one of Jam Jam's outdoor tables. Small, British-style and softly lit, Jam Jam works well as a late-night date stop in Yeonnam-dong.

Every day just kind of floats by these days. It's been raining nonstop for a while, hasn't it?
You really have to watch your step in weather like this. Otherwise you can take a bad fall. I used to think if I fell, I'd just dust myself off and get up — but about 3 years ago I fell badly, had three surgeries, and now I can't say that anymore. Everyone, not falling and not getting hurt comes first. So for a while I couldn't go anywhere and just stayed home, and only now that things have improved and I've finally taken off the brace have I been able to slowly start working again and catch my breath. Today I had a day off, the weather was nice, and I wanted brunch, but I slept in and somehow ended up eating it for dinner instead... that's what a day off looks like, haha ❤️

Isn't the exterior just gorgeous? It has that vibe of a nice alley café you'd find abroad somewhere ❤️ I've never actually been overseas, but I've definitely seen cafés like this — in movies. That pink 💕 scooter parked outside fits perfectly too...

Gah... however you shoot it, the atmosphere just pops. I think I showed up past 8pm after sleeping in too long. Some of you dungdungis are probably thinking, isn't that basically a midnight snack? Yes. But in my heart, it's brunch.
What are the basement interior and seats like at Jam Jam?
The inside of Jam Jam is a small space with British-style decor — mini sofa seats and inner 2–4 person seating. You could tell every detail was cared for, down to the logo T-shirts, hats, and printed posters.

There's a distinct British feel inside too. Those individually printed posters, and the T-shirts and hats stamped with Jam Jam's own logo, look pretty premium. The layout isn't big — it's a small space, nicely decorated.

The mini sofa seating right as you walk in. I'd never seen sofa seating quite like this, so it was fun to see 🤭 The table is super cute too. Seems like a great spot for a light cup of coffee.

There are more sofa seats inside with the same vibe. You could tell the owner and staff put a lot of thought into the interior decorations and little props. The inner seats seem set up for 2–4 people.

From the exit area onward, anything you shoot looks Instagram-feed-worthy. Since I visited late at night, the lighting really stood out. If you come during the day, sunlight ☀️ would probably make it feel even warmer.

I went up front to check the menu and found fake lemons 🍋 tucked into plates and cups one by one — so cute. I love the sense of style packed into such a small space.

If you head further inside, there's even a TV-styled interior corner set up. I snapped a quick photo here too before heading back to order.

For reference, Jam Jam is recognized as a 'good neighbor' shop, with staff who give hope to children. For a place like this, you can raid my wallet anytime! 👝
What's on the Jam Jam menu, and what goes into the dishes?
Jam Jam has a strong coffee and non-coffee lineup, and the desserts especially stand out. They offer distinctive brunch dishes using seasonal vegetables and fruit, and say they don't use ready-made products for any food or dessert — everything is made in-house.

The menu is fairly extensive. Both coffee and non-coffee options are well put together, and Jam Jam's desserts in particular are excellent. They serve distinctive brunch using seasonal vegetables and fruit, and say nothing is ready-made — everything's cooked in-house. They also mention that the cream used at Jam Jam is 100% fresh dairy cream.

All the ingredients seem to be kept in a visible fridge, which is reassuring. After ordering, since the breeze felt nice, we headed toward the outdoor seats.
How many people fit at Jam Jam's outdoor tables?
Jam Jam's outdoor tables are right off to the side as you step out, and since the space isn't large, I'd recommend 2 to a maximum of 4 people. Other guests were seated nearby, so I didn't take separate photos outside.

Head off to the side and the outdoor tables are right there. When we visited, other guests were seated there, so I didn't take photos just in case. The outdoor space isn't huge either, so 2 to a max of 4 people is recommended. We sat down and waited for the staff to bring out the coffee and dessert.
How do Jam Jam's iced vanilla latte and iced chocolate milk taste?
Jam Jam's iced vanilla latte seems to lean more on syrup, giving it a gentle sweetness and aroma, while the iced chocolate milk wasn't very sweet and had a heavier chocolate flavor.

- Iced chocolate milk
- Iced vanilla latte
Those of you who follow my café channel probably already know... this person is obsessed with vanilla lattes. Yes, that's right! I love vanilla lattes 💜
Another iced vanilla latte today. At Jam Jam, the syrup ratio seems higher, giving it a gentle sweetness and aroma as its signature trait. The chocolate milk wasn't overly sweet either, with a heavier, more distinct chocolate flavor. My friend took one sip and went, 'Oh? The chocolate milk here is actually good?' Chocolate milk usually feels pretty average wherever you go, so getting that reaction means it's genuinely good.

Seasonal fruit French toast: what it looks like in fig season
Jam Jam's seasonal fruit French toast came piled with figs since it was fig season during our visit. The cream on top had a thick texture mixed with cream cheese, which paired well with the bread.
Ahh! The seasonal fruit French toast finally arrived! Since it was fig season when we went, they piled it high with figs ㅠㅠ Doesn't it look so glossy? Genuinely the kind of visual you only see in movies.

The cream on top has a thick texture mixed with cream cheese. It pairs really well with the bread, and the figs cut through what could otherwise get a bit rich — yum. I'd recommend drizzling the syrup that comes with it partway through eating, rather than right away, since eating it plain first lets you taste the cream a little better.
Spending the last of my day off in the breeze, with cool coffee and French toast, was honestly fantastic. Realizing once again that happiness doesn't need to be anything grand, I headed straight home thinking about work tomorrow... If you'd like to enjoy French toast and a special coffee at an outdoor table in Yeonnam-dong, I'd recommend Jam Jam!
