Iced Geisha at a Hongdae coffee shop bar seat: Central Site Yeonnam
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a hand-drip coffee shop in a Yeonnam-dong alley in Mapo, Seoul, a walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3. From a bar seat facing the brew bar, I ordered the 24,000 won Black Moon Washed Geisha, smelled the beans, watched the whole extraction and drank it iced, with jasmine and bergamot aromas leading into pear and peach sweetness and a lemon black tea brightness. Central Site Yeonnam is the Yeonnam-dong drip specialist to pick on a day you want to focus on the coffee alone.

Wandering the alleys of Yeonnam-dong, I spotted a place with the clean, composed look of a cultural space.

It turned out to be Central Site, a hand-drip café in Yeonnam-dong, and I walked in as if pulled by something.

I'm pretty serious about coffee normally, so I just can't walk past a nice drip specialty shop haha (๑>ᴗ<๑)

How does the 24,000 won Black Moon Washed Geisha taste iced?
This time at Central Site I chose the Black Moon Washed Geisha line, priced at ₩24,000 ♡⃛
It's a bit on the pricier side, but one sip and you immediately feel it's worth it. Jasmine aroma and bergamot spread out brightly, with a gentle sweetness of pear and peach lingering underneath.
This Geisha coffee also had a lemon tea-like brightness and a pleasant fizzy sensation added in — truly a captivating cup (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛

This bean is great hot too, but I'd recommend enjoying it iced, sipping slowly. As the ice gradually melts, the coffee's flavor and layers keep shifting, and that's really fun to experience.

Is Central Site Yeonnam good for solo visits or with a friend?
If you're looking for a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime drip coffee near Yeonnam-dong, you should definitely visit ✨ Central Site Yeonnam's quiet atmosphere makes it perfect for spending time alone, but it's also great for chatting with friends ⸜(ˊᗜˋ)⸝

It was a day where a single special drink really refreshed my mood, and I'll be revisiting soon to try other menu items too (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)

The nutty aroma spreading through the whole space mixed with the soft lighting made for a really calm rest. Thanks to the owner's careful explanations, hearing the story behind each bean was a real joy.
Even the drip bags were made with such care that I got excited thinking about enjoying this flavor at home. The fruity aroma slowly spreading through the icy glass captivated me, and it stayed clean to the very last sip. Watching the careful drip extraction process up close, full of Yeonnam-dong's particular sensibility and dedication, was a treat for the eyes too.

Just sitting at the bar table listening to coffee drops fall was enough to melt away my fatigue (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛ Next time I want to bring friends and compare different drip lineups together. It felt like a gift to myself amid a tiring daily routine — a truly happy visit to Central Site.~~!!

If you love exploring the alleys of Yeonnam-dong, I'd recommend this as an absolute must-visit stop!

Tracing the unique notes of each bean one by one was a really fascinating and memorable flavor journey. It's a wonderful space that made a leisurely weekend afternoon even more special, and one I think I'll remember for a long time ☕
