Walking into Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch, the first thing I noticed was the high ceiling and sense of space~ There was no stuffiness at all, just an open, airy, comfortable feeling. Overall it has a modern, calm tone, with greenery placed throughout that adds a sense of stability.

Flowerpot Cafe bakery display and self-packing counter

The bakery display had so many different breads. There were so many varieties, all so pretty, neatly arranged, that it was a treat just to look at. At Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch, an Ansan café, the salt bread, mont blanc, and campagne varieties are apparently especially popular~~

True to a large-format café, there's a self-packing counter to take leftover bakery items home, plus blankets, drinking water, and a microwave.

If you write a review-event post you can also get a pretzel meringue cookie.. definitely worth joining and grabbing^^

What we ordered at Flowerpot Cafe

  • Iced café latte
  • Mango smoothie
  • Mango Wakppu salt bread
  • Maron campagne
  • Anbutter salt bread

🌰 Maron campagne (chestnut campagne)

A rye campagne (crusty bread) that's crisp outside and plain-tasting inside.. The campagne itself isn't sweet, and the more you chew it, the more its nutty flavor really comes through!!

You can see the round campagne loaf is packed with plump chestnut pieces and soft sweet-bean paste. The chestnuts are generously loaded, giving a great chew, and it's not too sweet so you can enjoy it all the way through without feeling heavy. Great as a filling meal or a hearty snack!

Mango Wakppu salt bread

Such a unique look, and so trendy right now — mango Wakppu salt bread! This is the one my friend Yeon Gongju picked the moment she saw it^^ Salt bread topped with mango cream and coated in white chocolate!!

There's a generous amount of rich, nutty cream on top, and sweet mango flesh is tucked inside the salt bread too^^ The inside is really moist and soft, yet still has that distinctive salty, savory kick of salt bread. The sweet cream and mango together made it really delicious^^

Anbutter salt bread (red bean and butter)

The anbutter salt bread I picked because I love this kind!! Between the chewy, springy salt bread base, it's packed with textured red bean paste and rich, flavorful butter.

Not too sweet, with a nutty flavor that lingers — a charm that stays on your mind!! The texture and flavor of the bread itself is so good, I get why salt bread is this popular^^

Iced café latte and mango smoothie

Iced café latte and mango smoothie

The iced café latte struck a golden-ratio balance between deep espresso aroma and smooth milk. Not too weak, not too strong, so it paired perfectly with any bread! Clean-tasting — a memorable latte from Flowerpot Cafe♡

The mango smoothie has a strong, real mango fruit flavor. It uses less ice than a typical smoothie, so it goes down smooth and cool^^ The sweetness isn't artificial but genuinely mango, so it paired really well with the bread too :)
