Why Central Site Yeonnam for an evening coffee in Yeonnam-dong?
Today I'm introducing Central Site Yeonnam in Yeonnam-dong. It's open Mon–Fri 08:00–22:00 and Sat–Sun 08:30–22:00, and there's no parking at the café itself, so you'll need to use a private lot within a 2-minute walk.
After a delicious dinner with a friend in Yeonnam-dong, we were trying to decide which café to go to. There are seriously so many Yeonnam-dong cafés... I wondered which one would actually be worth talking about. Today we were craving the combo of hand-drip coffee and tiramisu, so we ended up at Central Site Yeonnam ✨.
Central Site Yeonnam on Yeonhui-ro: exterior and three floors
If you've walked along Yeonhui-ro, you've probably spotted this place before. Doesn't the exterior already give off a modern feel?
Location-wise, it sits right along the path you'd naturally walk from Yeonnam-dong toward Hongdae after a meal, so it was perfect for a cup of coffee.
The café is made up of three floors total.

In front of the 1st-floor counter, there's a table set up so you can sip your drink while looking outside. My friend and I liked this spot best, so after checking out all three floors, we settled in here.
Overall the café had a dimly lit, modern vibe. There were little interior decor pieces placed along the stairs at every turn — as you can see in the photos, it's very much an aesthetic café.
The 2nd floor had window seats where you can look outside while drinking your coffee, plus round tables. I visited around 8pm after dinner, and even then people were sitting at the tables enjoying their coffee. Some had come alone just to enjoy the drip coffee.
The topmost, 3rd floor isn't quite a full rooftop, but it's styled like one, with an outdoor-facing view. Like the 2nd floor, it has the same round tables. Groups who came together were pushing tables together to sit.
Every floor has a spot set up for water — cups, napkins, cold water, and hot water are all provided.
Here's the 2nd-floor window seat for two — doesn't it feel pretty nice?! Sitting in a Yeonnam-dong café, looking out at the street, thinking about the delicious drip coffee and tiramisu ahead — it really got me excited.
Choosing the beans: geisha Peach Fun or Guatemala Entre Volcanes?
There were all kinds of drip coffee options ready to order. Since it was my first time trying this coffee, I went with the staff's recommendation.
Via Finca Quebraditas Geisha Washed – Peach Fun 🍑: I picked the bean with acidity and a subtle, lingering peach aroma. Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed ☕️: my friend, who doesn't like acidic coffee and prefers something nutty, went with the Guatemala.

At Central Site Yeonnam, you can watch them brew the drip coffee themselves. They grind your chosen beans in the machine, then let you smell the grounds.
Watching the beans I picked get ground and then come back to me as an actual cup of coffee — isn't that kind of amazing? It was the first time I'd watched coffee being brewed like this, and it felt like such a fresh experience.
On the left is the Peach Fun I chose, and on the right is the Guatemala. Even just looking at the grounds, the colors are clearly different, right?!
Watching them slowly pour hot water over the grounds was really impressive! It seems like it takes a lot of patience. Which is probably exactly why drip coffee tastes better, right?🤭 Especially while my Peach Fun was being made, the gentle peach aroma rising up was so lovely.
If you're someone who normally likes drip coffee, watching the extraction process in person will probably make it even more fun!
How did the two drip coffees and the tiramisu taste?
Our two drip coffees and the tiramisu arrived together.
Each coffee comes with a little card noting its flavor points so you can tell them apart. The coffee with the square ice cubes looked so fancy and delicious, don't you think?! Eating it alongside the tiramisu was truly delicious. Coffee never lets you down 🤤
We also finally got to the tiramisu I'd been most looking forward to. Eating it with coffee really amplifies the tiramisu's flavor. Central Site Yeonnam's tiramisu leans more sweet and soft than bitter, which made it pair so, so well with the coffee.

If you're looking for a great drip coffee and tiramisu spot in Yeonnam-dong, I can strongly recommend this café. It's in a spot that's comfortable to linger in, and watching the coffee get brewed right in front of you was the most memorable part.
