Apgujeong Rodeo hair salon inner keratin clinic for split ends: Biorn

Today I went to [Biorn Hair], an Apgujeong Rodeo hair salon!

Hours and how to get there from Apgujeong Rodeo Station

Open daily 09:30–20:00 (closed every Tuesday), valet parking available for ₩5,000

I took the subway, and it's super close to Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line~!

The interior is modern and clean, with big glass windows that give an open feeling instead of a cramped one!

The first-visit discount was such a nice bonus too!

Inner keratin clinic, consultation with designer Jisu

The treatment I'm getting today is the inner keratin clinic, and the designer in charge is Jisu!

Hair condition before the inner keratin clinic care

Before the care, all the whitish-looking parts of my hair were completely snapping off, and it was dry and brittle from lack of moisture ㅠㅠ

The designer ran through the consultation, then went straight into care!

What does the care process look like

We moved to the shampoo room and started with a shampoo step so the products would absorb well into the hair! (Her shampoo skills were seriously top-tier..)

After the shampoo, she guided me to my seat and offered tea service >_< I asked for iced rooibos!

The weather was so nice that day, and you can see the sky through the big window ㅋㅋㅋ it was hot out, so the cool tea and snacks were perfect!

Protein treatment and heat steam

This is the step where protein gets worked into the hair — she went strand by strand, carefully applying the protein treatment,

and then used heat steam to boost the care's staying power! She explained everything in detail as she went, which made the whole thing better and built my trust~

Private room massage-chair care

Once the heat steam finished, we moved straight to a private space-!

This part happens separately in this space — do all the Apgujeong Rodeo hair salons have massage chairs like this?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ (so fancy...) It was so relaxing and healing ㅠㅠ

This step packs in protein and moisture and restores split cuticles, and steam runs during this too! It felt like the nutrients were being sealed and locked in.

Lastly she did scalp acupressure, pressing firmly but always checking the pressure wasn't too strong — it felt so good and relaxing! After the healing time was over, it was time to dry my hair

Before drying, I touched it and it was so soft?,, totally different from how it usually feels after drying

After drying, I was like, is this really my hair...?ㅋㅋㅋ

Hair condition after the inner keratin clinic care

Remember the snapped, damaged hair from the very beginning..? It recovered like this 🤍👍🏻 I honestly never paid much attention to my hair condition, but comparing before and after, the difference was really noticeable..!!

Why I want to go back

This was my first time visiting Biorn Hair, an Apgujeong Rodeo hair salon, and the designer and staff were so kind, explaining in detail what effects to expect from each step of the care, which made everything easy to understand. The whole hair care session flew by and never felt boring! Especially the massage chair and final care in the private room — that alone makes me want to come back to Biorn Hair ᥫ᭡

This was my first time getting a hair clinic and I was half-skeptical, but after trying it this time, I really felt why it's needed and how important healthy hair is! Big thanks to designer Jisu at [Biorn Hair] for bringing my hair back to life — highly recommend!
