Yeosu ocean-view restaurant pasta lunch: Ravenna

I’d been craving some delicious pasta lately, so while looking around, I visited Ravenna, a Yeosu ocean-view restaurant famous for its pasta~~!!

Ravenna, a popular restaurant in Yeosu near The Ocean Resort, sits right beside the Soho-dong sea, so you can enjoy an absolutely amazing ocean view haha!

There’s parking on the first floor, Ravenna is on the second, and Dongdong Café is on the third, so it was great that we could take care of both a meal and a café visit in one building lol. To give you the conclusion first: Ravenna was a very satisfying Yeosu pasta restaurant!! Seriously, it was among the tastiest I’ve had~~

Ordering truffle oil pasta and spicy cream pasta

Here is the menu and price list at Ravenna, a Yeosu restaurant~ They sell everything from steaks to pilaf, pasta, risotto, and pizza, plus drinks, juice, beer, and wine. After pondering the menu, we ordered the truffle oil pasta and spicy cream pasta :-) Time to properly enjoy a pasta spot!

Eating while looking out over the wide-open sea made this Soho-dong restaurant in Yeosu feel even more special!! We visited at lunchtime, when sunlight streamed in, so the view outside the window was even more beautiful :-)

Bread before the meal and a complimentary salad

Ravenna, a Yeosu date spot, also prepares bread before the meal. Oh my, why was the bread so soft, nutty, and delicious!! I spread on some butter and yum yum.

Soon, the pastas arrived~~ The salad is complimentary! It’s perfect for eating vegetables before the meal to help prevent a blood sugar spike ^^!!!

We ordered the small size, but the portions were still quite generous, which I loved! A delicious truffle aroma gently wafted up~

The salad dressing was so fresh and tangy. I’m a dieter 365 days a year, so I always try to eat vegetables before getting into the main meal!! You should eat your veggies first too lol.

Truffle oil pasta with gat kimchi

True to its Yeosu restaurant status, Ravenna has gat kimchi (mustard-leaf kimchi) at the self-service bar~! Having it while eating creamy, oily pasta was such a great kick!!!! There are pickles too, of course haha.

I tried the truffle oil pasta first! The truffle’s distinctive fragrant, deep aroma came through gently. It went so well with the oil’s nutty, clean flavor.

The seasoning was so perfectly balanced... I couldn’t help saying, “Delicious!!” haha. Oil pasta doesn’t have a heavy sauce, so it’s great for enjoying the noodles’ own texture and flavor; with the truffle aroma added, it felt much richer than a simple oil pasta~!

And the gat kimchi combination?! No words needed~ It freshens up your whole mouth! I was so happy that this Yeosu restaurant had Yeosu gat kimchi too lol.

A gentle spicy finish behind the rich cream

Next was the spicy cream pasta! Wow, the cream was so rich and thick. Classic cream pasta~ The first taste is the cream’s smooth, deep flavor, then a subtle spiciness rises at the end! So it goes down easily without becoming too rich haha.

The king oyster mushrooms soaked in cream sauce were the best.. I already love mushrooms, and they went unbelievably well with the cream pasta!

Ravenna, a Yeosu ocean-view restaurant, also has coffee and tea for finishing your meal, so it was lovely to wrap things up at a leisurely pace!

Ravenna, a Soho-dong restaurant in Yeosu and Italian date spot with both a wide-open ocean view and truly delicious pasta! I totally recommend it~~~~~~^^
