If you're looking for a quick meal before catching a train, or want gyeongyangsik (Korean-style Western food) pork cutlet in the Choryang area, this one's worth checking out.
This time I visited Gyeongyangsik Dal and Sixpence Main Branch (경양식 달과6펜스 본점).
I went looking for gyeongyangsik-style pork cutlet around Busan Station and Choryang Station, and the menu turned out to have quite a range — from the basic cutlet to a sweet potato cheese cutlet — so there was plenty to choose from depending on your mood.
How close is it to Busan Station?
The restaurant sits between the Busan Station subway stop and the Busan train station, so it was easy to reach by public transport.

Gyeongyangsik Dal and Sixpence Main Branch is close enough to Busan Station that it's a good stop on a travel day. A lot of places around Busan Station cater mostly to tourists, but here the menu is comfortingly familiar gyeongyangsik pork cutlet, so it made for an easy, no-fuss meal.
What about parking?
There's no dedicated parking lot, but if you use Baekyang Parking Lot right next door, dining with 2 or more people gets you ₩1,000 off parking. Worth knowing ahead of time if you're driving.
The vibe on a weekday evening
The interior was bigger and cleaner than I expected. Even on a weekday evening, most tables were filled, which said a lot about how popular the place is.
Menu and prices
Looking at the menu, the basic pork cutlet starts at ₩10,000, with a large portion at ₩13,000. The sweet potato cheese cutlet is ₩12,500 and the cheese king cutlet is ₩12,000 — the price gap between dishes isn't huge.

An old-school gyeongyangsik course, starting with soup
After ordering, a warm soup arrives first. There was pepper on the table so I sprinkled some in to taste — this old-fashioned gyeongyangsik-restaurant feel was honestly kind of nice :)
And then, finally, the pork cutlets arrived!

The basic pork cutlet came crisply fried with a generous amount of sauce on top. With gyeongyangsik pork cutlet, the meat matters, but I tend to care a lot about the sauce, too — this one wasn't too sharp or sour, just pleasantly sweet, which suited my taste.
What does the sweet potato cheese cutlet taste like?
The sweet potato cheese cutlet had a completely different appeal.
When you cut into the crispy cutlet, cheese comes pouring out from inside, and you get the sweetness of the sweet potato together with the savory, salty cheese. True to its name, there's a generous amount of cheese packed in, so cheese lovers should be happy.
Wrapping a bite of crispy cutlet in the melted cheese and eating it together was seriously good haha.
They said cheese cutlets can take a bit longer to cook than the regular one, so if you're cutting it close for a train, keep that in mind.
