I went to Napoli Shinbu (나폴리신부) in Shinbu-dong, Cheonan, for lunch before seeing a movie with my husband. I had been curious about it because it caught my eye whenever I walked along Cheonancheon, and this was my first visit. We ordered the burrata pizza and shrimp cream pasta.

Where is Napoli Shinbu, and is parking available?

The restaurant is at 46 Bangjungan 3-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, on the first floor. There is no dedicated parking lot, so it was inconvenient that we had to look for a spot in a nearby alley or an available space.

Does it have seating for dates or gatherings?

The interior was clean and fairly spacious. There were two-person tables, four-person tables, and seating for several people, so it looked suitable both for a meal for two and for a gathering.

What dishes are available, and how much did our food cost?

The menu included salads, pizza, pasta, pork ribs, and gambas. There were especially many pizza and pasta options, so after considering them, I chose the pizza and my husband chose the pasta.

Can you get extra pickles and sauces?

The pickles contained cucumber, onion, cabbage, olives, and carrot. They seemed to be made in-house, but I did not confirm that. They were refreshing and went well with the pizza and pasta between bites. When we ordered drinks, they also brought us a separate cup of ice.

If we ran short of pickles, we could get more ourselves. Hot sauce and honey were also available, making it easy to take as much as we needed.

What did the burrata pizza taste like?

The burrata pizza came with tomato sauce, Italian burrata cheese, arugula, and basil pesto. I chose it because it brought together several ingredients I like. It arrived about five minutes after we ordered, so we did not have to wait long while hungry.

I broke open the large burrata cheese in the center and wrapped it with arugula to eat together. The thin crust, freshly baked in the wood-fired oven, was chewy, and even the edges had a savory nuttiness. Sun-dried tomatoes also helped cut through the richness.

Was the shrimp cream pasta too rich?

The shrimp cream pasta was flavored with Argentine red shrimp and artichoke. My husband, who likes seafood, chose it. As soon as it arrived at the table, it had a strong shrimp aroma, and the flavor was clear when we tasted it.

The cream sauce was not too rich for my taste, and the pasta was cooked just right. We coated the broccoli, tomato, and bamboo shoot with plenty of sauce and ate them together. I liked the sauce so much that at the end, I used the pizza crust to scoop up what was left on the plate.

My husband and I do not often eat Western food, even on anniversaries, but we were both happy with our dishes that day. Next time, I would like to try another pizza or pasta.

What are the hours and break time?
