An interior that feels like a trip to Europe

European-inspired restaurant interior

The European-inspired interior caught my eye as soon as I walked in, so I was already quite taken with the atmosphere before the meal even began.

Interior space at Bueokgan Oslo Park Branch

I heard that Bueokgan's Oslo Park branch was designed with inspiration from Sweden's Nationalmuseum. With its high ceilings, gentle arched curves, vintage furniture, and decorative pieces, it had a slightly different feel from an ordinary restaurant!

Maybe that's why it felt a little like being on a European trip while we ate. It is such a pretty space for photos, so it looked like a nice choice not only for dates but also for family meals or a special occasion~!

Pasta and pizza to share with a group

The menu includes everything from salads to pasta and rice dishes, steaks, and pizzas. Everything looked delicious, so I had a hard time deciding and chose the dishes marked with the best-seller stickers!

We ordered carbonara, shrimp anchovy oil pasta, arugula prosciutto pizza, and basil Margherita pizza. Since there were several of us, it was nice to order a variety of pastas and pizzas to share, haha.

Carbonara mixed with a poached egg

The carbonara was one of my favorites! I would recommend it to anyone who loves cream pasta like I do. The thick yet smooth cream sauce coated the noodles beautifully, and there was a generous amount of bacon, garlic, and mushrooms, so every bite carried the flavor of the ingredients.

The key is to pop the poached egg in the middle and mix it into the sauce! As the yolk blended into the cream sauce, it became even smoother, richer, and more savory, making the carbonara taste so much fuller. If you like a smooth, thick cream sauce, be sure to mix in the poached egg really well :)

Shrimp anchovy oil pasta with plump shrimp

The shrimp anchovy oil pasta, which we ordered for a family member who loves oil-based pasta, was delicious too. Above all, I loved how plump the shrimp were. They had a pleasantly springy bite, so they went wonderfully with the pasta.

Oil pasta with plump shrimp

There was a subtle anchovy savoriness and just a little spice, so it did not feel heavy despite being an oil pasta. The noodle thickness was just right for holding the sauce, and it was a clean, easy-to-eat oil pasta.

Wood-fired pizza with wonderfully chewy dough

And pizza, which we simply could not leave out! We ordered the arugula prosciutto pizza and basil Margherita pizza.

The salty, savory flavor of the prosciutto was joined by arugula's peppery, fragrant taste, which kept the pizza from feeling too rich!

Perhaps because Bueokgan's pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven, the dough was really delicious. The outside was nicely browned and nutty, while the inside retained a satisfyingly chewy texture, so even the dough alone tasted great. I loved that little stretch of chewiness when I picked up a slice of freshly baked pizza, haha.

If you are looking for a stylish Italian restaurant in Yangsan

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch was where I visited for dinner with my family this time! We enjoyed everything from the pasta to the pizza, and above all, the European-style, exotic interior and the chewy wood-fired pizza dough were exactly my taste~ The carbonara was fun to eat by popping the poached egg, while the shrimp anchovy oil pasta was easy to enjoy thanks to its plump shrimp and lightly spicy flavor. Ordering the wood-fired pizzas alongside them made it perfect for sharing several dishes with the family. If you are looking for a place for a family meal or a stylish Italian restaurant in Yangsan, I think Bueokgan's Oslo Park branch would be well worth a visit~!
