Buffalo wings and dog-friendly weekend visit: Burgiz Daeheung, Daejeon

Burgiz, which only had locations in Daejeon, just opened a Daeheung branch :) Let me share the review from my delicious meal with my boyfriend!

It's located in the alley next to Daejeon Girls' Middle School and the Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center :) We visited around 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 5, and there were still quite a lot of people eating!

That day we ended up having a late lunch no matter what, and since there's no break time, it was nice to be able to eat comfortably without worrying about timing haha

The interior had such great vibes 🪵 If nobody told you, you wouldn't know it's a burger place! Total aesthetic cafe energy - ☁️

Cold water and extra sauces are self-serve!

And best of all, there's a separate hand-washing area inside the store!! 🫧 Since this kind of food gets your hands pretty greasy, it's a thoughtful touch from the owner so you don't have to keep going back and forth to the restroom 👏🏻

Looks like it's a dog-friendly restaurant too - seeing a cute dog made me feel so lucky … 🍀

First they brought us the 2 drinks included with the set. You fill your own drink into the cup they give you full of ice haha

My boyfriend and I both got Coke Zero 🤎 They had Dr Pepper Zero too?? For reference, I once tried Dr Pepper and had a truly shocking taste experience.. ^^ (n) There seems to be a whole fan base for it!! Lolol I wonder what they enjoy about the taste lol I still don't understand the taste of Dr Pepper .. guess I'm not an adult yet ㄲr .. ⭐️

Comparing the 3 signature burgers

The food we ordered came out :) It came out way faster than I expected! Delivery riders kept coming and going .. they looked busy, but it still came out fast, so I was very satisfied 💞

Hangover 🍔🥔

The Hangover has hash brown in it - we ordered 3 signature burgers total! This is the first one haha

Looks really thick and hearty 🥰

I compared it to the size of an iPhone 17 - my boyfriend's phone is so cute right? Lol I decorated it for him ✌️

Godfather 🍔🧀

The second signature burger! This was my boyfriend's top pick - haha

Two slices of cheese make it very savory 💛 The combo of the slightly rich cheese with red onion is the kick ! ⚡️ Even in the photo the red onion looks super fresh, right?! 🧅

Mushroom 🍔🍄

The mushroom burger I picked haha My love, mushrooms~~

No really this is insane ;; everyone needs to try the mushroom ;; 🍄 The mozzarella + mushroom + fried combo is unbeatable !!!!!! It's so~ soft, the cheese is savory, and the mushroom aroma is amazing .. 👍🏻 I've never seen fried mushroom like this! Subjectively speaking! I think this is the most signature menu item 👏🏻

Fries and buffalo wings

The fries also came out freshly fried, 100% real-potato-tasting fries!!

Can you see the salt & pepper sprinkled on them 🍟 They're seriously insanely good .. My boyfriend and I tried a bite and were shocked ;; This is real potato! Not fake-tasting salty potato, real potato! Lol No sogginess at all, completely crisp fries 😋

These buffalo wings are totally amazing 🍗 They come with both wings and drums, and the sauce that comes with them is the kick! 🤍 I think it might be ranch sauce :) The buffalo wings are a bit spicy, and pairing them with the sauce goes so well with the tangy flavor!

Burgiz Daeheung is the new addition after the Tanbang, Eoeun, and Gwanpyeong locations! ✨ So happy that the already-famous Burgiz now has a spot in Jung-gu too :) Highly recommend for anyone in Daejeon craving a burger! The store has such good vibes too ~ 🙌🏻 The food is great as expected, and the staff are super kind too! 😉 Delivery is available ⭕️ And since there's no break time, come by anytime for a meal ~ 🤩
