I stopped by QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, famous as a Chuncheon sushi buffet spot, after work on a weekday!! The real trick with this Chuncheon buffet favorite is visiting during weekday dinner (17:00–21:30, salad bar closes 21:00) haha 😆 They've got a ton of renewed weekday-dinner specials plus a discount event running right now, so it's basically a must-visit these days!!!👏👏

Weekday dinner is normally ₩29,900, but there's currently an autumn discount taking 2,000 won off, making it ₩27,900~♡ Prices have gotten so high lately that QooQoo actually feels like a good deal these days 😆😆

With around 120 types of sushi, California rolls, gunkan (battleship sushi), and fresh sashimi from the FRESH CORNER stretching on and on endlessly, it's genuinely jaw-dropping!!👏👏

The sushi quality is really fresh and the variety is so wide that deciding what to eat first is just... pure happiness 😍

The real star my husband fell for: 'galbitang'

Out of all the new dishes, my husband's #1 pick was the galbitang!!!😆😆 A bowl of galbitang at a famous Chuncheon soup restaurant usually costs a fortune 🥹 But the galbitang here, at a leading Chuncheon sushi buffet, had broth just as rich as a specialty restaurant, packed full of tender bone-in beef! We scooped up that chewy meat without any hesitation and ate until full 😁

We came to the conclusion that whenever we crave galbitang, it's much better to come to QooQoo and eat our fill of it plus everything else at the same time 👏👏

The spicy, punchy standout: 'clam stew'

And Chunsik's top pick was this clam stew! This was seriously amazing!!! Buffet clam dishes are usually tough or not properly cleaned of grit, but at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, the clams were tender and chewy in the best way 👏👏

It was well-seasoned with a spicy, tangy kick that cuts through richness, and I kept coming back for more 😋 This clam stew keeps pairing up perfectly with other dishes 😆👍

A clean finish with fruit and ice cream

After clearing out the mains, I moved over to the dessert corner (BEVERAGE & DESSERT)! Waffles and coffee, of course, plus fresh fruit like orange, kiwi, and pineapple, refreshing cakes, ice cream in various flavors, and even popping-candy ice cream with colorful bursting bits!!
