Gangnam sushi restaurant for salmon and crab sushi: Sushi Maiu

I was craving fresh sushi like crazy, so I searched hard and headed to Sushi Maiu Seolleung Station Branch (스시마이우 선릉역점)!

I’d heard the quality of the conveyor-belt sushi was great, so I headed over without hesitation ( •͈ᴗ•͈)ෆ The delicious signature aroma drifting out from the entrance had me so excited! It’s close to Seolleung Station, so the access is honestly amazing and it’s easy to find! Just walk a little after coming out of the subway station and

there it is, right in front of you ٩(ºั︶ºั ) Even I, someone who gets lost easily, found it in one go thanks to the clear directions, so visiting was really easy and nice!

As soon as I stepped inside, I was welcomed by a bright, hygienic atmosphere! It’s neatly arranged mostly with counter seats, making it perfect for enjoying a meal on your own too (´._.`)

Check the prices here! Just watching the colorful plates continuously pass by on the rail was a treat for the eyes and instantly lifted my mood! They also have well-put-together, good-value lunch sushi sets! Next time, I definitely want to come at lunchtime and try the lunch menu too ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و They also handle takeout and delivery neatly, so I think it would be super handy to enjoy at home as well!

Starting with thick salmon sushi

Once seated, I watched the passing rail and picked up salmon sushi first! The thick salmon wrapped the rice completely, and it was so rich and tender that it melted the moment it hit my mouth!

The harmony with the lightly added sauce and onion was perfect too—I was genuinely impressed! The tender texture was outstanding, so I grabbed several more plates of salmon sushi and devoured them! Its rich, fatty flavor spread through my mouth, but it never got tiring (๑•̀ – •́) Anyone who loves salmon is bound to fall for this quality at first bite!

The next salmon sushi I tried was just as fresh and full of flavor! Its little popping texture and salmon’s deep richness blended beautifully, leaving an even fuller flavor the more I chewed! With the savory saltiness of the seaweed added in, I just couldn’t put my chopsticks down!

The satisfaction of crab and fresh fish sushi

The crab sushi I picked up next was personally so impressive! Its sweet, rich crab flavor

gently spread through my mouth, and it was so delicious ( ‘́⌣’̀ )

The meat was moist without any dryness at all, and the umami was incredible! I completely fell for the charm of crab sushi! I also made sure to try the chewy fresh fish sashimi sushi. The fish was so fresh that every bite had a springy texture!

With not even a hint of fishiness, its clean, mild taste rivaled that of an upscale Japanese restaurant, so I was extremely satisfied (ू˃o˂ू)

Finishing with maki and rolled egg sushi

I also ordered rich, savory maki (sushi rolls) and enjoyed the crisp texture of the seaweed! The filling was generously packed in, which made every bite feel wonderfully full! You could tell it had been carefully rolled, and it put me in an even better mood throughout the meal!

Of course, I added sweet and soft rolled egg sushi too! It was just sweet enough, with a fluffy texture that was perfect for wrapping things up! Every menu item was so well made that I finished a thoroughly satisfying meal!

Thanks to the kind owner, the whole meal felt even warmer! They quickly took care of anything I needed and welcomed me so warmly—I was touched (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛ The food is excellent, but the kindness makes this a place I want to visit every day!
