Gangnam Italian restaurant for burrata Bolognese: Mano di Chef
In short
Mano di Chef Gangnam is an Italian restaurant on B1 of Bithumb Financial Tower near Yeoksam Station in Gangnam, Seoul. After reserving ahead, I tried burrata Bolognese radiatori, gamtae pesto seafood barley risotto, and dolce baguette; every dish, including the side, was generously portioned. Verdict: the two-way burrata pasta and texture-rich risotto were standouts.

Back at Mano di Chef in Gangnam

I finally made it back to Mano di Chef, one of my favorite pasta spots in Gangnam! The pasta was sooo good last time that I was like, oh, this place is seriously good...? Then my friend happened to say she wanted pasta, and Mano di Chef—the delicious one—immediately came to mind haha. We ordered different dishes this time, and it was a success again~! Now I want to try everything on the menu at this Gangnam pasta spot...

On B1 of Bithumb Financial Tower by Yeoksam Station
You can find Mano di Chef, a great pasta spot in Gangnam, on B1 of Bithumb Financial Tower at Yeoksam Station!

We made a reservation on Naver before visiting haha. There are so many hot restaurants on B1 of the Bithumb building, you know? Mano di Chef is one of them~
The wide windows let in lots of sunlight and create such a nice atmosphere, making Mano di Chef perfect for a pre-wedding gathering, date, or group get-together in Gangnam!

There are plenty more seats further inside too~~~ With all kinds of events on offer, this Gangnam pasta spot is even better for groups haha.

There are also well-appointed private room tables, so Mano di Chef is ideal for anyone looking for a private-room restaurant around Yeoksam or Gangnam >.<

There are various set and course menus at good prices too! It would be nice to come for a birthday or anniversary haha.

Steak / pasta / risotto / pizza, plus a varied alcohol lineup...! A glass of wine would be perfect, right? But we each had a Coke Zero!! Next time, we're having wine haha.
Ordering burrata Bolognese and gamtae pesto barley risotto
This time, we finished ordering different dishes from last time~
The basic pickles are house-made radish and cucumber pickles. So crisp and perfect for cleansing the palate haha.

Dolce baguette: sweet oval garlic bread baked with honey! Three pieces are ₩12,900, while four pieces are ₩14,900. At first, I thought it was inari sushi from the look of it lol. It was sweet, tasty garlic baguette >,<
Burrata Cheese & Bolognese Radiatori
Mano di Chef's Burrata Cheese & Bolognese Radiatori is a dish that bloggers have been raving about! The fresh short pasta was easy to eat. Burrata cheese joins a tomato Bolognese sauce made with beef brisket, making this pasta full of flavor.
Gamtae Pesto & Seafood Barley Risotto
The Gamtae Pesto & Seafood Barley Risotto was so beautifully green-green. This one is also a signature menu item at Mano di Chef! It has tender, chewy scallops, bouncy shrimp, octopus that becomes more savory the more you chew, and seafood barley risotto made with gamtae (seaweed) pesto that is full of ocean fragrance haha.

The two of us had two mains and one side. Each serving at this Gangnam pasta spot, Mano di Chef, was so generous that we nearly burst ㅠㅠ For the Bolognese pasta, just spread out and mix in the burrata cheese haha.

The burrata was so large that once I spread it out, the pasta was completely covered in cheese!!

The part mixed with cheese eats like rosé pasta, while the unmixed part lets you enjoy the Bolognese itself—so I loved getting two flavors from one pasta haha. The sauce is rich and delicious... I think it might be tastier than most pasta places.

This gamtae pesto-based barley risotto was fragrant and delicious, with bouncy scallops plus plenty of shrimp and octopus for great texture! It was a texture-lover's dream and totally my taste, with such depth of flavor. The charm of gamtae pesto~

My battery has been dying way too early lately, so I look for outlets wherever I go haha. When I asked about charging at Mano di Chef Gangnam, they thoughtfully gave me a power bank ㅜㅜ I love little details like that..! Even after coming back after a while, Mano di Chef was still tastier than most dedicated pasta restaurants.
