Highly recommend this Wangsimni café with amazing vibes. Nerdy Blue Burrow felt like a secret spot only insiders know about — the atmosphere, the coffee, the desserts, all pretty much perfect. Low lighting that puts you in a good mood, great music playing too. Today I'm introducing a café near Wangsimni Station called Nerdy Blue Burrow, sharing the precious time I spent there.

Nerdy Blue Burrow is open daily from 12:00 to 21:30 with no break time. ✨Mondays only until 17:00✨ This time I ordered the signature menu, the Cheating Plate.

Wangsimni Station Exit 9. Four subway lines pass through here — Line 2, Line 5, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and the Suin-Bundang Line — and the café sits 208m from Exit 9, a cozy, hidden-feeling spot you can reach in about 4 minutes on foot. It's tucked down an alley just before Sowol Art Hall.

A quiet atmosphere with the lighting dimmed down — that felt like the whole point. Nerdy Blue Burrow is a precious space where you can spend time in a cozy vibe listening to great music, a place for free, unhurried time enjoying a playlist that gets updated every month. Perfect spot to just be free for a while.

A space anyone can relax in comfortably, Nerdy Blue Burrow. Time flies here. Good to bring a laptop and get work done, or great for studying too. The temperature, humidity and lighting are all just right for chatting away as well, with coffee and dessert on hand.

What comes in the 19,900 won Cheating Plate

The Cheating Plate, ₩19,900. Owner... how do you even make a profit selling it like this? That's honestly the thought I had — I felt bad but also really grateful eating this. Just look at what's included, it's seriously generous: 2 cups of cold brew coffee, cheesecake, financier and banana pudding, all in one set, and the whole thing is priced at ₩19,900.

Does that mean the coffee tastes cheap? No. It was genuinely clean and delicious, made with beans that had a really nutty flavor, and every dessert is made in-house — all of it was really good.

Banana pudding at Nerdy Blue Burrow

An American-style banana pudding made with house custard and cream, banana, and beloved animal crackers — the taste was moderately sweet and moderately nutty. For anyone who just wants the banana pudding on its own, it's on the menu separately for ₩6,500.

Cheesecake

The cheesecake is made in-house, a clean-tasting cheesecake with rich Basque cheesecake topped with fresh cream cheese.

Financier

The financier is a plain one, very clean in flavor — crisp on the outside while the inside was sweet and moist.

Cold brew

As a cold brew specialty coffee house, you can try Nerdy Blue Burrow's own distinctive coffee. I can enjoy both acidic and nutty beans equally, but the cold brew here leaned nutty and I really enjoyed it.

When I love a place, I visit, then revisit, then bring someone I like and become a regular — and I knew that about Nerdy Blue Burrow the moment I walked in. I knew for sure I'd be coming back! The atmosphere, temperature, lighting, humidity, music and desserts were all great — I genuinely recommend this Wangsimni café, Nerdy Blue Burrow!
