Where is Eojil In Wangsimni Station Branch?

Eojil In Wangsimni Station Branch is a two-floor bakery café right outside Wangsimni Station Exit 6. It's also close to Hanyang University's back gate, so it's always busy.

This is the Wangsimni café I'd been turned away from several times because there were no seats — Eojil In.

You order on the 1st floor, but they tell you to check whether there's a seat first before ordering.

Small Eojil In, the takeout-only shop next door

The Small Eojil In location runs from 8am to 7pm. There's no café seating there — it looks like it's takeout only, baguettes and salt bread and the like!

Eojil In seating: is the 1st or 2nd floor quieter?

Water is self-serve.

The 1st floor doesn't have that many seats, but that might actually make it the quieter option.. The 2nd floor isn't too loud either, because a lot of the customers are students studying or working!

The Basque cheesecake that always seems to take up space in the fridge. Seems to be a signature item that sells well as a whole cake too!

The wide sofa seats on the 2nd floor are the study spot.

The lighting is soft, it's a good spot for a date, and it's comfortable to just settle in for a while — that's probably why it's always full of customers. I wish more cafés like this would pop up along the way to Wangsimni Station and Hanyang University's back gate.

What we ordered: Dojima roll, pain au chocolat and decaf latte

At Eojil In Wangsimni Station Branch, we ordered the Dojima roll my husband loves, the pain au chocolat I love, and one iced and one hot decaf latte. Poor guy, having to put up with me eating a whole meal just to justify eating dessert after....^^

Eojil In Wangsimni Station Branch even brews their decaf nutty and delicious! Good coffee is probably part of the reason this place is always packed.

The Dojima roll, made with 100% dairy whipped cream. Apparently dairy cream makes a real difference to the flavor, giving it more richness.

We polished it off in about a minute..

Nice touch — the tissue paper has the Wi-Fi password and bathroom code printed on it :)

The pain au chocolat was just as good, of course..! Eojil In Wangsimni turned out to be a real coffee-and-bread spot.

Had a really good time with my husband and enjoyed both the coffee and desserts 😋 Last time I came with friends, the place was so packed we had to go elsewhere, but coming back now made me realize how good it actually is — definitely coming back to Eojil In Wangsimni Station Branch.
