Why we chose QooQoo Chuncheon Branch for our last meal in Chuncheon

We passed through Gapyeong and arrived in Chuncheon!! Looking for a great all-you-can-eat spot, we ended up at QooQoo, a sushi spot in Chuncheon. Sure enough, plenty of other people were also trying to open-run it besides us.

After finishing a morning workout, we arrived around 11:20am and waited about 10 minutes before getting in. The freshly made dishes and the variety of delicious-looking sushi really got our appetites going, haha.

Oh right! I hadn't known this, but apparently there's now a QooQoo Gold, an upgraded version of the regular QooQoo. This location, QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, isn't the Gold version, but we still ate well and got plenty full on food that lacked nothing.

So personally I was won over by the taste and the variety of dishes, and I wanted to recommend it, so here's my review. Take it as reference, and I hope you'll get to have a meal at QooQoo with friends, family or a partner over a long weekend and have a great time. With that, let's start the review of QooQoo, a sushi spot in Chuncheon.

QooQoo Chuncheon opens at 11:30: how long is the open-run wait?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch opens at 11:30am, so arriving at 11:20 meant we couldn't walk straight in — we waited a bit before entering. On the last day of the trip, we decided to eat somewhere we could really relax, so QooQoo, a sushi spot in Chuncheon, was the choice, and we did a fast checkout followed by an open run.

Sure enough, being a well-known sushi spot in Chuncheon, there were a lot of people there. Let's go in.

One plate is never enough: what's on the QooQoo buffet line

After being seated with the staff's help at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, we dove right in. Since everything's made fresh, it all looked really fresh and appetizing.

We started filling our plates one by one with the sushi and dishes we wanted, but there were so many kinds that one plate wasn't nearly enough — we made several trips to fill up on the food we wanted.

These are the various dishes at QooQoo, an all-you-can-eat spot in Chuncheon. The Gold upgrade probably has even more, but honestly, just looking at what's in these photos, it was plenty — we could eat plenty well and be satisfied with just this much.

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, the sushi spot in Chuncheon, also runs a kids' café. It's a nice perk since you can eat comfortably while your child plays, so that's worth keeping in mind too.

Pasta, fried rice, chicken, tempura and sushi before noon

Here's what we brought back from QooQoo Chuncheon Branch. We loaded up big, bringing pasta, fried rice, chicken, tempura, sushi and more of our favorites, so we ended up having a lavish spread from the morning on.

You might think a buffet is expensive on the surface, but on the flip side, for people like us who love eating well and trying lots of dishes, it might just be the best kind of place, right? QooQoo, the all-you-can-eat spot in Chuncheon, was truly the real deal for us, haha.

Four bowls of cold soba with plenty of cilantro

Soba with cilantro piled on top!! I ate four whole bowls of cool cold soba — hadn't had it in a while, and it was absolutely delicious. Besides that, we also went back for cream pasta, takoyaki, and various sushi, again and again.

Finishing with marble ice cream and coffee at QooQoo

We ended things with ice cream and coffee — and they had my favorite marble ice cream. This stuff is really pricey at places like theme parks, but here at QooQoo we could eat as much as we wanted without any worry.

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch weekend price, hours and address

We ate really well — at the weekend rate of ₩32,900 per person, ₩65,800 total, we left completely stuffed. Next time I'll check out the QooQoo Gold near my house and see what's on the menu, eat, enjoy, and write that review too.
