Cheonan dessert café for Dubai croffles: Andamiro Pancake

Looking for a special dessert in Sinbu-dong

I visited Andamiro Pancake Cheonan because I wanted something a little more special than an ordinary bakery dessert in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan.

It is known for soufflé pancakes made to order, but it also has a great range of croffles, sorbets, and coffees, so it is definitely one to keep an eye on if you love desserts.

Seating and atmosphere at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is on the second floor of the building opposite Sinbu Cultural Park. Walk up the stairs and pancake photos greet you at the entrance, so you immediately know it is a dessert specialist!

Once inside, the café was much larger than I had expected from outside. The clean, calm space uses white and dark wood throughout, while plants placed here and there and soft lighting make it feel comfortable.

There was a good variety of seating, from window seats looking out, to tables for two and big tables that work well for groups.

The tables were spaced generously too, so nearby conversations did not feel distracting. It looked like a nice spot to chat with friends or add to a Sinbu-dong date itinerary.

There were even seats that would be perfect when you want to sit quietly by yourself and enjoy coffee at a Sinbu-dong café!

Americano, sorbet, and Dubai croffle

That day, we tried a dark Americano, apple cinnamon ade, pineapple sorbet, and a Dubai croffle together.

A clean Americano is always a good match for sweet desserts. Rather than sharply acidic, this coffee was rich and nutty, making it nice for clearing the palate after a sweet croffle.

The ice cream served in a small glass was smooth and cool, perfect for a light bite before getting into the main dessert. It was also fun to scoop up while waiting! Even the wooden tray and rounded glass suited the café’s atmosphere, so the photos came out beautifully too.

Dubai croffle with plenty of pistachio filling

The Dubai croffle I was most looking forward to caught my eye the moment it arrived. A golden-baked croffle was topped with deep-green pistachio filling, a generous scoop of ice cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Just watching the ice cream slowly melt over the warm croffle looked incredibly appetizing!

When I cut into it, the outside broke apart crisply while the inside still had its layered texture, and there was plenty of pistachio filling too. The croffle’s buttery flavor, nutty pistachio, and cold, creamy ice cream came together in one bite for a really satisfying mix of textures.

There was also a crisp texture from finely chopped ingredients inside the filling, which made it feel much more substantial than an ordinary croffle.

As the ice cream melts and seeps into the croffle, it becomes even moister and richer than at first. It is quite a sweet dessert, so it is great for two people to share.

Soufflé pancakes next time

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan was a Sinbu-dong dessert café where the spacious interior and varied seating made it easy to linger. I had the Dubai croffle this time, but its fluffy soufflé pancakes made fresh to order are also a signature menu item, so I definitely want to try them next visit.
