Today was our short but sweet Sinnonhyeon date — right next to the meat restaurant we love, there's a quiet spot with lots of outlets, which we both love since we love charging our devices. Especially recommended for people who love working on their laptop or studying at cafés: Selecto Coffee ☕️ And it's a 24-hour café, so you know it's good to come anytime!

Where is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon, and what does it look like?

Walk straight from Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station, turn into the alley by 70-70 Restaurant, and you'll spot Selecto Coffee right on your left ✨ There's an outdoor terrace outside the shop — since we never know when winter will suddenly hit, let's make the most of this short autumn and try the outdoor seats!

Inside seating: group room and 2-hour solo study seats

Inside, there's a long row of bar tables along the window, and 2-4 person tables with sofas. Next to that there's a group room, good for parties of 6 or more, so you can visit regardless of your group size — a great café right by Sinnonhyeon Station 👩🏻‍💻

To the left of the entrance it's a bit quieter! There's also a 2-person table — when my husband and I are together we usually sit in the sofa zone, but today I had somewhere else to be, so I rushed off and he headed to the solo study seats 👩🏻‍💻

Once you're inside, there are seats reserved just for solo study ✨ It's a 2-hour limit per person, but the sofas are comfy and every table has an outlet, so it's the perfect quiet spot for people like us who look for a café where charging is easy 👩🏻‍💻

Usually with a 24-hour café you'd worry the coffee might not be great, but since it's Selecto Coffee, there's a variety of bean options and seasonal menus too, so it seems like a fun menu to pick and choose from.

There were also lots of bakery items in the shop, and especially the sandwiches that were perfect as a meal replacement 🥪 I love sandwiches, so on weekdays I often eat them with coffee instead of a proper meal! The sandwiches range from half-size portions that are light to eat, up to a whole one that's big enough to be a full meal ✨

We chose the mocha blend beans for our americano — normally I like beans with a nutty flavor that go down smoothly for americanos, so I picked mocha ☕️ For ₩3,800 you can choose your beans, the coffee portion is generous, and it's rich, so I kept sipping it down.

Selecto Coffee especially has a wide range of bakery items, and the combo of bread and americano is truly perfect ☕️

Pumpkin sandwich for 7,000 won: a light meal with coffee for 10,800 won

Pumpkin sandwich, ₩7,000 — I tried this sandwich a few months ago and was surprised how delicious it was 🥪 For when eating out somewhere else feels awkward and you just want a quiet sandwich at a café, the pumpkin sandwich boosts freshness with crisp vegetables + sweet, hearty pumpkin + egg and tomato 🎃 Order it with an americano and you get a full meal with coffee for ₩10,800 — a satisfying combo.
