Heuksadang: a dessert café to stop at while walking Heyri Village

I was out wandering Heyri Village in Paju and got a craving for something sweet, so I stopped by Heuksadang :) In weather this cool, the outdoor terrace felt amazing!!

Great weather, perfect course — Heuksadang⭐️

Right at the entrance you can clearly see the Blue Ribbon mark!! That made me even more excited. I think that's exactly why I drove all the way to Paju.

There's everything from coffee-based drinks to coffee-free lattes, smoothies, ades, and more.

There are so many cafés with great vibes in Heyri Village, but I was curious about Heuksadang specifically because it's known for its donuts. Walking in, the showcase was lined with all kinds of donuts, and just looking at them made choosing a happy dilemma~ Heuksadang has such a wide variety of donuts that it's easy to pick based on your taste! That day I went with a tiramisu donut and a cream donut, and just visually they looked incredibly delicious.

They'd be great for takeout or as a gift, too~

How do Heuksadang's tiramisu donut and cream donut taste?

The tiramisu donut especially had this soft cream and that signature sweet-yet-bitter tiramisu flavor that paired really well with coffee! The inside was packed with cream, so with every bite you got that soft, creamy feel too. The cream donut was, as expected, a solid classic pick. Fluffy donut with soft cream inside — perfect when you're craving something sweet.

Matcha latte or americano: which pairs better with the donuts?

The matcha latte paired nicely with the donuts, gently toning down the sweetness of the dessert, and I could faintly taste that distinct matcha aroma too!! The americano was clean and easy to drink alongside the donuts — taking a sip of coffee between bites of sweet donut really reset my palate. I guess coffee really is essential at a dessert café.

The café spans both the 1st and 2nd floors, so it was bigger than I expected, and it was a nice spot to rest while exploring Heyri Village~ There's fun in browsing the variety of donuts, and you can enjoy dessert leisurely with a drink, so it's a good stop when looking for a café in Paju!! Especially if you're strolling Heyri Village and craving something delicious, Heuksadang — where picking from all the donut varieties is half the fun — feels like a solid choice. From the tiramisu donut to the cream donut, matcha latte, and americano, I really got to enjoy a sweet, relaxed café time that day :)

Heuksadang has outlets all around the interior, so it's easy to spend time charging your devices, and the lighting was so nice it made for great photos!! Heyri Village has plenty to explore while walking around, plus lots of pretty cafés and good restaurants, making it a great full-day course.

You could have a good meal, enjoy dessert and coffee at the café, then stroll Heyri Village — or do it the other way around, exploring the village first before your meal and café. There's plenty to see and eat, so if you go with some time to spare you'll enjoy it even more!
