Gwangalli Beach pork galbi set for two, 59,000 won: Haean Sutbul
In short
Haean Sutbul Galbi Gwangalli Main Branch is a retro-style charcoal pork galbi restaurant in Suyeong, Busan, a five-minute walk from Geumnyeonsan Station Exit 1 near Gwangalli Beach. Two of us ordered the 59,000 won set for 2-3 people, grilling premium raw pork ribs and 72-hour aged handmade marinated ribs over charcoal, and refilled the musaengchae (seasoned radish salad) twice before adding grilled pork tail and finishing with doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) with potato noodles. Haean Sutbul Galbi makes an easy dinner that leads straight into a night walk under Gwangan Bridge.

Haean Sutbul Galbi Gwangalli, a pork rib restaurant worth knowing in Gwangalli.
While looking for a place to have dinner in Gwangalli, I was in the mood for meat rather than raw fish or seafood that day, so I ended up visiting Haean Sutbul Galbi, a spot that keeps coming up as a Busan pork rib favorite.
How to get to Haean Sutbul Galbi Gwangalli Main Branch, and where to park

Haean Sutbul Galbi Gwangalli Main Branch sits about a five-minute walk from Geumnyeonsan Station Exit 1, near Gwangalli Beach. With its flashy neon signage, it has that retro old-school restaurant feel that fits right into Gwangalli.

It's tucked just off the main strip of Gwangalli Beach, so after dinner it was easy to walk along and take in the Gwangan Bridge night view — that classic Gwangalli atmosphere.

Inside Haean Sutbul Galbi: retro dining room and seating

The interior of Haean Sutbul Galbi is done in wood tones with warm lighting. It carries the same retro feel as the exterior — a bit old-fashioned, a bit nostalgic.

The tables were spaced out well, and there was enough room for larger groups, so it looks like a solid choice for dinner with friends, group gatherings, or even a work dinner.
Haean Sutbul Galbi menu and prices

Haean Sutbul Galbi, a favorite for meat in Gwangalli, mainly serves pork — raw ribs and marinated ribs — and the set menu was such a good deal that the two of us ordered the 2-3 person set for ₩59,000.

We also got to try an unusual dish I hadn't seen elsewhere — grilled pork tail! And writing a Naver review got us a free 120g tasting portion. Such a steal!!!!

Premium raw pork ribs and 72-hour aged marinated ribs on charcoal

Haean Sutbul Galbi's premium raw pork ribs come with tight score marks and a fresh, bright red color. The 72-hour aged handmade marinated ribs look richly seasoned just from the way they're presented — sweet, deeply marinated pork ribs.

I was surprised by how generous the side dishes were — shredded scallions, various vegetables, pickled onions, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), and more.

And the radish salad was the real kicker! It went so well with both the raw ribs and the marinated ribs that we ended up refilling it twice.

The thick cuts of meat looked incredibly appetizing right from the start — a good mix of fat and lean meat, with satisfying score marks.
Cut into easy-to-eat sizes, it was delicious plain or dipped in the house meat sauce — so good. Meat grilled over charcoal really can't go wrong, haha. It's easily in my top three pork rib experiences in Busan lately.

Thanks to my partner's grilling skills — adjusting the charcoal heat just right so the marinade on the surface didn't burn — we got to enjoy some really delicious marinated ribs. The raw ribs delivered a clean, savory flavor, while the marinated ribs offered that sweet marinade paired with the charcoal aroma.

What does grilled pork tail taste like?
This was the dish that really caught my eye at Haean Sutbul Galbi. Grilled pork tail is like an upgraded version of pork skin, something you don't easily find at typical restaurants. It has a chewy texture with the special marinade and charcoal aroma soaked in — anyone who loves the collagen-rich skin part of pig's feet will probably love this.

We finished off with doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) with added potato noodles plus two bowls of rice, for a hearty, spicy finish.
Why Haean Sutbul Galbi works as a Gwangalli dinner date course

If you're looking for a good pork rib restaurant in Gwangalli, Haean Sutbul Galbi Gwangalli is worth a visit. From clean, savory raw ribs to sweet marinated ribs, and the hard-to-find grilled pork tail, it's a place that really delivers a varied menu as a proper Gwangalli pork specialty spot.
The side dishes came in enough variety that we could pick and choose to our taste, and being close to Gwangalli Beach meant a nice walk along the water after the meal. If you're hunting for a good pork rib restaurant in Gwangalli or craving Busan pork ribs, it's a great spot to visit with a friend or partner — especially since you can enjoy the Gwangan Bridge night view together, making it a solid dinner date course in Gwangalli!
