Masan late-dinner set meal for two with public parking: Yun Sikdang
In short
Yun Sikdang is a Korean set-meal restaurant on the Bukmasan furniture street in Masan, Changwon, Gyeongnam, serving one menu only: a grilled bulgogi (seokswoe bulgogi) set. Two people visited for a late dinner and paid 16,000 won each, 32,000 won in total, for a full table of grilled bulgogi, grilled fish, seafood doenjang stew and soy-braised abalone, with the bulgogi, kimchi pancake, stew and fish all cooked to order and served hot. The curb in front of Yun Sikdang is subject to surprise parking enforcement, so the nearby public parking lot is the safer choice, and the mild seasoning makes this a good-value set meal to bring parents to.

Where to park at Yun Sikdang in Masan
The roadside curb out front gets sudden enforcement, so you'll need to park at the nearby public parking lot.

What we ordered and what it cost: grilled bulgogi set, 16,000 won per person
Order / price
Grilled bulgogi set at 16,000 won per person. Two servings came to 32,000 won total.
I really love Korean set-meal dining (hanjeongsik) and visit often, but the fancier hanjeongsik places can get surprisingly burdensome on the wallet if you go often. Haha.

Instead of an expensive, elaborately set hanjeongsik, I went to Yun Sikdang, a good-value Masan set-meal restaurant! Even at 16,000 won per person, the food quality looked great and was neatly plated!

What banchan comes with the Yun Sikdang set meal
The banchan (side dishes) come out generously and in plenty of variety, which is why this Masan set-meal restaurant has so many regulars! Grilled bulgogi, grilled fish, seafood doenjang stew, braised abalone, steamed egg, kimchi pancake, japchae, kimchi, vegetable salad, seasoned eggplant, stir-fried anchovies, seasoned bean sprouts, watery yeolmu kimchi, seasoned crab, spicy seasoned squid, and lettuce for wraps! The variety of banchan is great haha. For 16,000 won, this is excellent.

Eating out has gotten pricier lately with rising costs, but this place still has good prices so I end up visiting often.

Still busy late in the evening at Yun Sikdang
Even though I visited a bit late, the place was still full of customers! The surroundings were quiet, but this place alone was buzzing. Lunchtime always has a wait here!

Cooked to order and served piping hot
The portions are generous and everything comes out looking refined. Haha. Most importantly, dishes like the grilled bulgogi, kimchi pancake, doenjang stew and grilled fish aren't pre-made and pulled out — they're cooked fresh the moment you order! Steaming hot, warm food — love that.

Everything is plated so neatly that it'd work not just for a family meal out but also for an important dinner gathering!

With the table fully loaded with food, it lived up to being a Masan set-meal restaurant in Changwon, Gyeongnam, delighting both the eyes and the mouth. (╹ڡ╹ ) Note that the banchan lineup can vary slightly day to day depending on ingredients.

How does the grilled bulgogi taste?
Bulgogi grilled nicely on a grill grate, piled high on the plate!

A slightly sweet soy-based sauce with a faint smoky char flavor woven through. Paired with lettuce wraps, the sweet-and-salty flavor really comes through!

No fatty bits or gamey smell, so it was really enjoyable to eat. (╹ڡ╹ ) If you're looking for a good-value Masan set-meal restaurant in Changwon, Gyeongnam, I recommend Yun Sikdang!

Why Yun Sikdang is a good place to bring your parents
The flavors are exactly the kind parents and older folks would love. Most of the customers at the restaurant are actually family groups. The seasoning overall isn't too strong, so it's a good place to bring parents and elders — I finished the meal in a great mood because it was so delicious!
