This is a Pick Story recording a product review. I love sushi and eat it fairly often, and I remembered enjoying a meal at the PNU branch before, so I went back. It's easy to reach from PNU Station, close by, and near PNU's main gate with lots of menu options too — so let me introduce this place, which was also good for a family meal out.

Where Moshi Moshi PNU Branch is and where to park

Moshi Moshi, a sushi spot known around PNU, sits near NC Department Store by Pusan National University, so plenty of students as well as families come by. Restaurants near PNU rarely have their own parking, but this one has a dedicated lot right next to the store with 1 hour of free parking. The parking space is generous and wide, so you can visit without any parking stress.

It's a well-kept, clean spot where you can eat comfortably with a kid, so I went back for a family meal out in PNU. Beyond sushi, they have sashimi, rice bowls, soba, al-bap (seasoned rice bowl), and a kids' menu, so it's great to visit with family or friends.

What we ordered: white fish sushi 10p, salmon sushi 10p and the kids' cutlet set

We ordered white fish sushi 10 pieces, salmon sushi 10 pieces, a kids' cutlet set, and egg sushi 2 pieces. I liked that the wide menu options let each family member order to their taste.

A refreshing salad, soft tofu drizzled with sesame dressing, soup, pickled radish, and pickled ginger came out first, followed by our full spread of sushi.

They have a fish tank, so you can eat fresh sushi here. Can you see the glossy sheen on the sushi! It's fresh, and that's why I really love Moshi Moshi's white fish and salmon sushi.

The sashimi is chewy yet soft and mild, easy to eat without feeling heavy, and the sushi has a good balance of fish and rice for a clean bite. They pile plenty of extra wasabi on the plate too, so I piled it on generously, haha. Sipping the soup in between bites made for a nice balance. It's a sushi place with a great full spread. Moshi Moshi doesn't overdo the rice, so you can really taste the fish, and the bite-sized pieces make it a place I really like.

The shrimp, sweet pumpkin, and sweet potato tempura that came with it were amazingly crispy, and you could really taste the sweetness of the vegetables — genuinely delicious.

The kids' cutlet set and egg sushi our child ate

The kids' cutlet is the dish my child orders every single time we visit Moshi Moshi.

The cutlet was fried crispy on the outside with a moist, soft inside, mild enough that my child ate it well. The portion is generous and filling too, so I highly recommend this kids' menu item.

Moshi Moshi's sushi has a good rice portion but the seasoning is just right too, so kids eat the egg sushi well. Soft egg sushi is great for kids to eat — highly recommend!
