A Haeundae Chinese restaurant with window seats
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is in Marine City, Haeundae-gu, Busan. If you bring a car, you can use the commercial parking lot, and curbside parking is also possible.

Let me introduce Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, a popular Chinese restaurant in Haeundae and Marine City—one of Busan's popular date-course areas :)

This is a great Haeundae Marine City Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy upscale Chinese dishes in a different way. If you're craving Chinese food, definitely visit at least once. A Naver reservation lets you book a scenic window seat.

It is on the second floor of the Subyeon Choego Dwaeji-gukbap building. There are lots of cafés and good restaurants around here, so it is popular with Busan locals and visitors alike.

Take the elevator up and the second-floor entrance is right there. The moment I opened the door and stepped inside, I felt the soft lighting and warm atmosphere. High chairs are available too.

The interior is neat too, so do come by if you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Haeundae.

Ocean-view window seats and private rooms
The window side has floor-to-ceiling glass, so it did not feel enclosed. Having a meal while looking out at the ocean made it perfect for a date course.

There are separate private rooms too, with full-height windows, and I heard it is well known as a venue for gatherings or family introduction meetings. You can reserve a window seat through Naver, so that is what we booked for this visit. Dining while taking in the scenery would make for such a wonderful atmosphere. Lots of couples and family groups come here. There are small rooms through large ones, and next time I should choose this place for my parents or a gathering.

A varied menu chosen on a tablet
You can order using the tablet provided at each table.

The menu is seriously extensive. From jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) to all kinds of dishes, I had such a hard time deciding what to get.

There are group sets that are handy when you come with a crowd, too.

And there is gaoliang liquor, which goes so well with Chinese food. If you write a receipt photo review as part of the review event, you can receive tasty eohyang dumplings. The standard banchan includes danmuji (pickled radish) and zhacai (pickled mustard stem); ask a staff member if you would like more.
Black-vinegar tangsuyuk, jjamppong, and gochu jajang
The black-vinegar pork loin tangsuyuk (sweet-and-sour fried pork) came out first. The sauce is made with black vinegar sourced directly from China, so you can taste its deep flavor.

It was crisp outside and moist inside, so I always order this when I come here. The sweet-tangy black-vinegar sauce is so appealing, and they will bring more if there is not enough. It is delicious whether you dip the pork or pour the sauce over it.

For our main meal, the beef brisket jjamppong arrived. The broth here is spicy and rich, so if you need a hangover cure, jjamppong is exactly what to order. It was really generous with ingredients too.

Jjamppong is always my boyfriend's hangover-recovery menu.

My pick was the gochu jajang. It is jajangmyeon piled high with chili peppers, but it was not too hot—just deliciously spicy.

The noodles were nicely coated in the sauce, which made them delicious. I would love to revisit Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, a Marine City Chinese restaurant in Haeundae with such a nice atmosphere. Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is an upscale Haeundae Chinese restaurant that is great for dates or gatherings. It would be wonderful on a nice day, whether you visit at lunch or in the evening—the evening atmosphere should be lovely too.

With distinctive Chinese dishes, this place sits in the heart of a tourist area and is a Haeundae favorite that many people seek out. If you are looking for a restaurant for a special day, I recommend Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch.
