Family dinner at 37.5 Signature Mia, a Mia Sageori Western restaurant

I came up to Seoul to spend Chuseok with my parents. While looking for somewhere near their place for a family meal out, I found 37.5 Signature Mia Branch, a well-known Western restaurant near Mia Sageori. The vibe looked great and there were plenty of menu items like pasta and steak that seemed good for sharing as a family, so the three of us went for dinner.

37.5 Signature Mia Branch is open daily from 09:30 to 21:00, with a break time from 16:00 to 17:00. Last order is 15:30 before the break and 19:50 after it.

Parking is free in the building's parking lot.

We drove over since the building parking is free. The parking lot is on the 1st floor and the restaurant is in the basement, which felt a bit funny haha.

At first I thought the parking lot was on the 2nd floor and the restaurant on the 1st, so I pressed the 1st floor button in the elevator and it wouldn't light up. Turns out the parking lot itself is the 1st floor, haha. First-timers, take note!

We visited on a weekday evening at 7pm, and luckily it wasn't crowded so we got seated right away with no waiting.

Inside 37.5 Signature Mia: seating and tablet ordering

The inside of 37.5 Signature Mia Branch was overall clean and had an upscale feel.

With 2-seat and 4-seat tables well arranged, it looked like a great spot for families as well as friends or couples.

The tableware was already set out nicely on the table, and ordering was done through the tablet placed there. They were also running a receipt review event — if you took part, you'd get a free americano or soft drink.

There were so many tasty-looking items that we agonized for a while before ordering the Mont Blanc Myeongnan Cream Pasta, Cube Steak Pilaf, and Shrimp Tender Salad.

There was a self-serve bar off to one side where we could easily grab water, aprons, and extra tissues or side plates as needed.

Shrimp Tender Salad: three shrimp split between three people

The first dish to arrive was the Shrimp Tender Salad, topped with shrimp and chicken tenders.

There were three big shrimp on top, perfect for the three of us to split one each, and the chicken tenders were a nice size and crispy, going well alongside the salad.

There was plenty of cheese too, and once we drizzled on the ranch dressing that came with it, it was surprisingly filling and delicious for a salad.

Cube Steak Pilaf with flat iron steak and yuja salad

The Cube Steak Pilaf came with bucheotsal (flat iron cut) cube steak on top of the pilaf, and it was served with a yuja (citron) salad too, so we got to enjoy meat, rice, and veggies all together.

The steak was tasty — not too tough, chewy yet tender at the same time.

The rice was fried up nice and fluffy, and the portion was generous, so we ate our fill.

What does the Mont Blanc Myeongnan Cream Pasta taste like?

I've had plenty of baguette panne pasta before, but this was my first time with Mont Blanc pasta, so I had high expectations — and it went beyond them, so much so that I'd want to come back just for this dish.

The myeongnan (pollock roe) cream pasta inside the Mont Blanc was salty-savory with great umami — the kind of flavor that kept me reaching for more.

The Mont Blanc shell wrapping it was crispy on the outside while moist and subtly sweet inside, and it surprisingly paired well with the pasta. Even after soaking up the sauce, the outer layer didn't go soggy, so the texture stayed lively right to the end — a real plus.

Everything we ordered was tasty overall, but the Mont Blanc Myeongnan Cream Pasta was the best of the bunch. If you go, definitely try it!

Is 37.5 Signature Mia worth it for a family dinner?

This place is also known as a brunch spot in Seongbuk, so next time I'd like to come in the morning and try it for brunch. The vibe is great and the food is tasty, so if you're looking for a nice Western restaurant near Mia Sageori, give 37.5 Signature Mia Branch a try~
