Seocho weekend lunch burgers with swiss cheese and lemonade: Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch is a New York–style burger restaurant halfway between Gyodae Station and Seocho Station in Seoul. For weekend lunch, the Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger came upgraded with a pretzel bun and swiss cheese, alongside a pastrami sandwich with 18 Fries and lemonade. New York–style burgers A Gyodae Station lunch review of Daily Fix
Let me introduce a Gyodae Station burger restaurant where meaty patties and generous fillings deliver a different flavor with every bite. It's a place where you can enjoy unique, appealing burgers that blend skills learned at a Michelin-recognized New York diner with the owner's own style. A hearty burger for a filling lunch by day, and a spot for cold beer and gatherings by night — this is my review of Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch.

Where is Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch, and what is the seating like?
Here's where Daily Fix is located. It sits about halfway between Gyodae Station and Seocho Station, so it's an easy walk from either direction. We strolled over from Gyodae Station and got there in about 5 minutes. They have rooms and group tables as well as solo seats, so you can enjoy a worry-free lunch even dining alone.

The interior is trendy yet calm. There's a separate space in the back that's great for a private gathering. The black finish paired with yellow tables is such a distinctive, pretty look.

They also sell Daily Fix tumblers. These too come in a clean yellow, ivory, and black design. It's exactly the kind of simple, rounded design that's trending right now — great for using every day without feeling precious about it.

Self-serve pickles and the lemonade at Daily Fix
At the self-serve bar you'll find pickles and water. These pickles are seriously!!! crunchy and tangy without being too sour — a perfect match for the burgers.

I ordered a refreshing lemonade. Toss out the idea that burgers must always be paired with soda! This lemonade is bursting with tangy sweetness, and it pairs wonderfully with the heavier flavor of the burger.
What we ordered for weekend lunch
- Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger + pretzel bun + swiss cheese added
- Pastrami sandwich + 18 Fries + lemonade
Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger, upgraded with a pretzel bun and swiss cheese
This is the Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger I ordered. I upgraded to the pretzel bun. The regular soft bun is delicious too, but you have to try the pretzel bun at least once. That distinctly clean yet flavor-packed taste unique to pretzels is really appealing. The fillings are incredibly generous, and they blended so well with the clean flavor of the pretzel bun that I devoured it happily.

I added swiss cheese, and that turned out to be a total masterstroke. There's thick house-made bacon, sweet pineapple, a well-balanced BBQ sauce, and the patty. When there's too much BBQ sauce, all you taste is sauce, but here it's added just right, so it only enhances the burger's flavor without overwhelming it.

And then there's the rich, meaty weight of the 100% Korean beef patty! It's not dry at all — savory and tender. As you dig into the deep meaty flavor from the beef patty and bacon, the onion and sweet pineapple pop through here and there, which is completely charming.
Pastrami sandwich cured and smoked for over 100 hours
This pastrami sandwich is packed with pastrami made with care through over 100 hours of curing and smoking. Crisp-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside sourdough is absolutely overflowing with smoked pastrami.

Take a big bite and you first crunch through the bread, then the savory-salty pastrami comes through inside. Like the Hawaiian burger, the pastrami sandwich isn't small at all — I imagine most women would have a hard time finishing one on their own.

18 Fries: 18mm-thick Belgian potato fries
One thing you have to try at this Gyodae Station restaurant is the 18 Fries. They're Belgian potatoes sliced into 18mm cuts and fried. It's a fry you won't easily find elsewhere — wonderfully fluffy with a strong potato aroma, a real specialty. You get to enjoy the potato's natural flavor in full, something thin fries just can't deliver.
Is Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch worth it? Final verdict
