Haeri-dan-gil bakery café pistachio madeleine: Low & Sweet Bakery

I finally made it back to Low & Sweet in Haeundae's Haeri-dan-gil area after a while. Still packed, still great vibes, still delicious 🥹 Here's my weekend visit review of this Haeundae favorite.

Where is Low & Sweet Bakery, and what are its hours?

Low & Sweet Bakery is at 1 Udong1-ro38beon-gagil, Haeundae-gu, Busan, not far from the entrance of Haeri-dan-gil. Hours are 08:00 - 20:00, last order 19:30. It's easy to find since it's so close to the start of the street.

Every time I come here I feel it again — the atmosphere at Haeri-dan-gil's Low & Sweet is just amazing. Feels like being abroad. Honestly there are a lot of foreign visitors too haha.

Low & Sweet Bakery menu and prices

Low & Sweet's menu is simple but has all the essentials, which I love. And free milk for babies?! Such a nice touch. Americano is ₩5,500, cortado ₩6,000.

Pistachio madeleine is ₩3,800, egg tart is ₩3,800. There's really a wide variety, and the prices are pretty reasonable.

I really love pastries, so next time I'm planning to try these bakery items too.

There were so many kinds of financiers, and even the plain ones looked crisp and delicious — I wanted to try them all.

There are cookies too, so you can enjoy a variety of options. This place is famous for its madeleines and egg tarts, so I ordered the pistachio madeleine and egg tart!

Outdoor terrace seats and the wood-toned interior

There's a seating area right in front of this Haeundae favorite, and a lot of people eat here too. There's something so aesthetic about it.

Low & Sweet isn't a huge space, but it still has outdoor seating. And the atmosphere out there is amazing.

Honestly it feels like you're somewhere in Europe. Sitting here with a cup of coffee on a nice day is just so good ㅠㅠ

There's also space beside the café entrance. Having so much outdoor space is such a plus.

The inside is gorgeous too. With so many foreign visitors, it feels even more like being abroad. The interior is really exotic but also so warm and pretty ㅜ gives off Sitges, Spain vibes.

I think this might be the most popular café on Haeri-dan-gil.

The combination of wood tones and white creates a clean yet warm and cozy atmosphere.

They also sell goods like eco bags.

Even the counter area is so pretty, I briefly thought it'd be nice to work in a place like this.

Weekend takeout review: americano and cortado

There were especially a lot of people on Haeri-dan-gil that day, so I got my order to go and planned to enjoy it at home.

They packed everything so neatly, and I carried it home to enjoy there ~~

Wait, aren't these takeout cups so cute? I love little details like this.

I don't usually drink hot americano, but the beans here have a slight acidity that was really delicious. By the time it had cooled a bit, I could really taste the beans' own aroma, which made it even better.

A cortado is a strong latte with less volume, so the cup is small too. So cute, right? And the thin straw to match is such a nice detail.

I took a sip while walking, and the coffee flavor was definitely rich, with a nutty milk taste that was so delicious 🥹 Highly recommend if you want a tasty latte even when you're full!

How do the egg tart and pistachio madeleine taste?

Ah, finally dessert time. Just looking at it, it looks so good.

Low & Sweet's egg tart had a really crisp exterior and a super soft, silky filling that melted in my mouth ㅠㅠ it reminded me of the taste of a really good egg tart from a now-closed café by Oncheoncheon.

And the pistachio madeleine — so good ;; I usually love pistachio but I'm not really a big fan of madeleines, yet this one was genuinely delicious ㅠ Slightly crispy outside, completely moist inside. The pistachio flavor was rich and it was such a satisfying taste.

If you're looking for a great café in Haeundae, I definitely recommend Low & Sweet on Haeri-dan-gil. With the nice weather lately, it's perfect for sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee.
