Large café space at Pino Cafe Cheonan

On a sunny day in September, three families drove to Pino Cafe Cheonan, a large café in Pungse, to get some fresh air together!

What were Pino Cafe Cheonan’s outdoor area and annex like?

I knew the outdoor space was supposed to be great before we went, so I was somehow even more excited~ Maybe because the outside is so well set up, dogs are welcome too, and we actually saw lots of guests with their pets!

I live near Cheonan-Asan Station, and it took just under 20 minutes by car~ I loved that a café like this is so close by.

Pino Cafe Cheonan has a main building and an annex. We checked out the annex first, and it was every bit as nicely done as the main building! There was a microwave and plenty of high chairs, so visiting with our one-year-old was no trouble at all!

Inside the Pino Cafe Cheonan annex

The large windows looked out onto lush green mountains, and I loved the bright, white-toned interior of the annex~

Cross over from the annex and you’ll find the main building! You can order in the main building~ It also had a self-service bar and microwave, with the tray-return area near the entrance.

I’d heard the brunch here is both reasonably priced and delicious, and perhaps that’s why there were quite a few people even though we went in the late afternoon on a weekday haha.

Pino Cafe Cheonan brunch and bakery menu

Here’s Pino Cafe Cheonan’s menu~ You can simply have drinks, or choose one of the brunch set menus. There are all kinds of brunch choices, including risotto, pasta, pizza, and sandwiches, so it was easy to pick whatever suited us!

We ordered the Potato Croissant Happy Hour Set, the Special Lunch, and an egg tart! For drinks, we had one iced Americano included with the set, plus a café mocha separately~

Along with egg tarts, there were so many different salted breads. Their salted bread must be popular too, because lots of guests were buying it to take away and eating it there!

The main building also had this comfortable indoor area that felt almost like being outside~ With such a variety of seating, it was easy to choose a spot you liked.

A walk through the spacious outdoor garden with our baby

We went out to the outdoor area with our son! Maybe because there were guests with dogs, our baby was absolutely delighted to see them haha. I thought that for a child who can walk, it would feel a little like visiting a botanical garden!

The garden was full of flowers, and they looked even prettier in the cool weather~ There was plenty of space around the outdoor garden too, and lots of people were enjoying being outside.

I filmed Pino Cafe Cheonan’s garden area roughly for you~ It feels healing even just watching it on video, right?

They also have a Campnic space available to rent, and I thought I should try it next time! A full-day pass for four is ₩100,000, which seemed like a pretty decent price too haha.

Special Lunch and Potato Croissant Set

After looking around for a while, our buzzer went off and we headed inside~ The brunch dishes looked so appetizing. I worried the portions might not be enough, but they were generous!

The Special Lunch is ₩15,000, and it was much more generous than I expected~ It seemed like a great order when you want to share a variety of things. It came with scrambled eggs, salad, a croissant, fries, and sausage, and every single thing was delicious!

These fries covered in sauce were especially the star. Fresh, crispy fries topped with cheese sauce and powdered cheese were so savory that I just kept reaching for more..!

The Potato Croissant Set is such great value: it comes with a big croissant, salad, and as many as three drinks! Being able to enjoy it for just over ₩10,000 is really nice~

If you came alone, I thought this one dish would be plenty! Inside the crisp croissant were fresh salad and lots of potato flavor, leaving my whole mouth feeling fresh~

Iced Americano and café mocha

The refreshing iced Americano that goes with anything, and the café mocha, whose not-too-sweet chocolate flavor gently spread through my mouth, were both perfect! Even the egg tart I wasn’t expecting was perfect.. I think this place might be known for egg tarts......haha?

Every menu item at Pino Cafe Cheonan was flawlessly satisfying. With such a well-designed outdoor space, it seemed like a lovely café to visit with a dog or with a baby! If you’re looking for a good place to eat in Cheonan or an unusual date course, I recommend Pino Cafe Cheonan, a healing spot in Pungse~
