Cheonan café for autumn cosmos photos and egg tarts: Pino Cafe
In short
Pino Cafe Cheonan is a café in Pungse, Cheonan, Chungnam, with a vast outdoor garden and brunch. I wandered through the yellow cosmos and red windmill photo spot, then tried truffle cream pasta, a special lunch, and egg tarts. Verdict: a lovely autumn outing for families, parents, or dogs.

I was looking for somewhere to get some fresh air in Cheonan this fall, so I visited Pino Cafe Cheonan in Pungse.

People say this place is beautiful in every season, and when I visited, autumn had already arrived!? The yellow cosmos were blooming so prettily—I got some proper healing time!

It was great for photos and the food was delicious too, so it felt perfect for a Cheonan date.

Pino Cafe Cheonan is right near Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest, so when you come with kids, it would be perfect to play at the forest playground and then have lunch at Pino Cafe!

Parking is free, and a newly opened annex has added a little more parking space beside it. This is a beautiful place with a 3,000-pyeong outdoor garden.
Autumn yellow cosmos and the red windmill photo spot

If you go now, the yellow cosmos are spread out in full bloom! I thought it was still summer, but Pino Cafe let me welcome autumn early.

The area in front of the red windmill is especially a photo spot, and the pictures came out really beautifully there!!

The breeze is cool now too, and it made me think I should bring my child here for a weekend outing.

At 3,000 pyeong, it is so spacious that it feels less crowded even when there are lots of people. Dogs are allowed outdoors, so quite a few visitors come with their pups too.
Private tent-zone camp picnic

Pino Cafe has separate private tent zones with a romantic forest setting. They are fully equipped with heating and air conditioning, so you can comfortably enjoy a camping-plus-picnic experience in the woods whether it is hot or chilly. There is even a Bluetooth speaker and board games, so you really only need to bring yourselves.

It costs ₩30,000 for 2 hours, ₩50,000 for 4 hours, or ₩100,000 for the whole day. The base rate is for four people, with ₩10,000 added for each extra person. With an open lawn and mountain views, it seems just right for privately relaxing with people you love and your dog.
Truffle cream pasta and egg tarts

This place is also famous in Cheonan as a brunch café with great pasta, so we ordered truffle cream pasta, the special lunch, an iced Americano, a latte, and egg tarts. They prepare brunch with fresh, seasonal ingredients every morning, along with desserts and baked goods made that day, so I went in expecting good food.

The truffle cream pasta had a gentle truffle aroma, and the cream was smooth and plentiful. I loved that there was still cream left until the very last bite.

The special lunch was generously put together too. Two women shared one pasta and the special lunch, and we still left a little behind.

I especially loved the egg tart. I had one on a previous visit to Pino Cafe and fell for it because it was so good, and even after trying egg tarts elsewhere, none have been as delicious as Pino Cafe's ㅠㅠ

If you visit Pino Cafe, I definitely recommend trying an egg tart! It is crisp outside and moist inside—so delicious 💙
Things to know before a weekend visit

I once came to Pino Cafe on a weekend carrying balloons to take my child's 1,000-day photos, and it was really busy on weekends.

As the weather gets cooler and the lovely yellow cosmos reach full bloom, I think lots of people will visit not only on weekdays but on weekends during the autumn season too. Still, the new annex has added more seating, so perhaps it will feel a little more relaxed than before!

How about taking some once-in-a-lifetime photos with your parents or children in front of the yellow cosmos and red windmill photo spot this fall? It is wonderful for visiting with children, bringing your parents, walking your dog, or going on a date, so I recommend Pino Cafe to anyone wondering where to go for a café in Cheonan!

I am planning to visit again for lunch after playing with my child at Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest one weekend : )
