Today I'm sharing my review after getting a root touch-up at La Bridge Doan!
Where is La Bridge Doan, and what are its hours?
La Bridge Doan is located at 102, Myeongbo Building, 10-15 Doanbuk-ro 93beon-gil, Seo-gu, Daejeon. It's open Mon, Wed, Sun 10:00–20:00, closed Tuesdays, with underground parking. The restroom is a shared building restroom, separated by gender.
It's right in front of the Gimbap Cheonguk Doan branch :) Parking is available, and it's a 2-minute walk from Mokwon University Intersection stop, so it's a great spot even if you're on foot!
The salon smelled amazing haha. Since it's a one-person hair salon, booking is a must! Regulars apparently book 2-3 weeks in advance 😳 Everyone get ready to reserve fast!

At La Bridge Doan, a root touch-up is ₩50,000 and full color is ₩70,000 (long hair surcharge extra). Cuts are kids ₩14,000, men's ₩17,000, women's ₩19,000.

What does the name La Bridge mean?
The word 'La Bridge' probably sounds unfamiliar to everyone! Apparently it's an eco-friendly brand name meaning 'connecting nature and people' - haha 🍀 I'll explain in more detail while attaching photos from the treatment!
Before: roots left to grow out for three months
First, here's the before shot! Turns out my last root touch-up was 3 months ago... haha. The blotchy roots were bugging me so I went straight in 🤣

Disposable perm cape and careful color application
Before the treatment starts, they drape a perm cape over the gown! Apparently the perm cape is disposable too 🥹 It's hygienic and clean, which makes it feel like an even more professional service 💯
The stylist applied the color so carefully haha. I've had a lot of root touch-ups but this is the first time I've met a stylist this detailed 🥺 And they include scalp nutrition + hair nutrition service just for a root touch-up — there's really no reason not to come here 🫢
The micro-vibration shampoo machine and plant-filled shampoo room
The shampoo space is also decked out in totally leafy-green decor, right?! 🌳🌲🎋🪵
While washing my hair, they used a machine that gives off a vibration! Absolute bliss — I nearly fell asleep 💤 Apparently you need a machine that produces micro-vibrations to clean thoroughly, haha. They shared so many stories and experiences I'd never heard before, and I picked up a ton of great tips haha 💇🏻♀️

My hair is thin (turns out there's one thin part of my body after all haha, though it's full of flaws otherwise...) and it's damage-prone Jiong hair, so there's a lot to manage - ㅠㅠ 😱 If you're similar to me, take notes on these tips haha.
Eco-friendly products safe enough for a 10-month-old baby
Since it's an eco-friendly brand, the shampoo can even be used on 10-month-old babies 👼🏻 (around ₩100,000-ish) and the essence they use is around ₩60,000-ish 🍃 Even the containers are biodegradable! But does that mean they skimp on the amount they apply? Absolutely not haha 🙅🏻♀️ You can see my hair in the photos?! Totally saturated haha = packed with nourishment and moisture 💧🩵
Nutrients~ moisture~ please absorb well~ haha 💦 Watching YouTube makes the time fly ㅠㅠ Waiting while watching my favorite show, I Live Alone, haha.
After: how even the root touch-up turned out
Here's the after shot! You can see the roots brightened up ✨✨✨ My hair is so full of nutrition & moisture that it was completely shiny haha.

Comparing before and after, it's clearly brighter and the tone is much more even 😍
I've been to a lot of salons, but getting a treatment at such an eco-friendly salon really felt different... You could feel the owner's pride, and since the products are so gentle, I can trust them with my hair!! haha Since it's a one-person salon, I also felt like I got even more thorough, careful attention haha. I'm planning to come back on my own dime next time for a full color! The owner is super kind 🥰 100% would return ⭕️
