Daejeon lash salon, monolid C-curl lift in 50 minutes: Banana Brow

Hello everyone~ I recently went to get a lash lift in Gwaejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon!! It's Banana Brow!

🚙 Parking is available! From 10am to 5pm you can park under the signboard, and after 6pm you can use the alley lot next to Banana Brow. I parked right in front of the shop!

Inside Banana Brow: salon interior and waiting seats

When you walk into the 1st floor of Banana Brow, there's a waiting area like this, and

further inside there's a counter and treatment bed!

You can hang up your coat here too if you brought one. haha

Such a thoughtful drinks corner at the waiting area!! You can sip a drink and wait comfortably while you're waiting! There's even a note saying to take one on your way out~! Such a thoughtful owner, right?!

There's also a comb and a mini curling iron ready at the waiting area! Nice to have so you can fix your hair after it gets messed up during the treatment~

I couldn't even count how many she's received,, wow. Her beauty licenses are also displayed prominently~ Thanks to that I could get the treatment feeling totally at ease!!

Banana Brow price list and the 150,000 won membership

For Banana Brow's prices, please check the price list! Banana Brow also has a membership program — pay ₩150,000 and you get ₩20,000 extra credit! (You can only purchase it if paying cash.) It's valid for 6 months, they said.

If you get lash lifts or extensions, you'd go about once every two months, so it seems like plenty for keeping up with maintenance!

Rod consultation to finished lashes in 50 minutes

When you go to Banana Brow, first they photograph your eyes so they can pick rods that match your eye shape. Then after chatting about whether you have a preferred curl and when you last got a lift, they go straight into the treatment! I got a lash lift plus black tinting, and the whole treatment took about 50 minutes!

Monolid lash lift before and after: how high did the C-curl go?

Now here are the lash lift photos! Starting with the before photo — this was taken in mid-July, so my previous perm had almost completely dropped and my lashes were drooping down. I don't have double eyelids, so my lashes matter a lot to me,, I'd been feeling so frustrated about it. Now here's the after photo!

They're lifted up so nicely~~! Blink. Blink. I feel eye-opened. haha From here on the owner took the photos, and since my skin was,, so messy, I asked GPT to just clean up the skin in this photo.

My skin got so smooth I barely recognize myself,,, hahahahaha But you can still see how well they're lifted.. This is the left eye.

This is the right eye. My right eye has a bit more fullness so the lift feels a little more hidden,,

Lash lift aftercare tips and the free brush

After the treatment, Banana Brow gives you a brow brush! A card with lash lift aftercare notes comes along with it too. Here's what the aftercare notes say!

1. You can wash your face after 3 hours. (Water OK, soap not OK) 2. Rubbing your eyes or pressing on your lashes can distort the curl or make it fall out faster. 3. Please avoid using an eyelash curler or lash curling iron. 4. Combing your lashes with a brush at least once a day makes them easy to keep neat. 5. Applying lash serum consistently twice a day is good for lash health. (Sold in the Banana Brow shop, ask about it) 6. The lift lasts 3 weeks to 1.5 months depending on lash condition.

I'm going to take good care of it with the brush they gave me so it lasts as long as possible~! The brush even comes in a little case, so it seems more hygienic to reuse! If they just gave you the brush alone you'd wonder how to store it, but giving the case too is such a thoughtful touch~~!
