Let me introduce Pasta Han Kki, a well-loved spot near Nowon Station.

This is my third visit including a fully self-paid one. This time I found a dramatic change — every menu item is now ₩9,900.

There's even a poster up saying the steak is ₩9,900 too!!

Inside Pasta Han Kki: seating for solo diners and groups

Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch has a trendy vibe that feels like it draws in a younger crowd. It works well for groups, and there are bar-style window seats that are perfect for eating alone.

You can tell a lot of care went into the distinctive interior design. I bet it feels completely different in the evening.

The window-side tables would be great for solo dining too.

It has a nice atmosphere during the day, and I imagine the evening mood is something else entirely. Since it's corkage-free, I'd love to bring a bottle of wine for a dinner visit sometime~

Why the whole Pasta Han Kki menu is 9,900 won right now

Pasta Han Kki's previous menu prices ranged from about ₩10,900 to ₩14,900, but now everything is ₩9,900. Apparently it's an event price to celebrate reaching their 100th store.

Everything on the menu is ₩9,900 (some items excluded). I wonder if this is temporary, or if the event price is here to stay??

On the previous menu board, the pizzas were ₩7,900, ₩8,900, and ₩9,900, while oil pasta, cream pasta, hangover pasta, risotto, and pilaf were all ₩9,900.

Ordering spicy vongole and gambas aglio olio with a 6th-grader

My son finished his English class and we came to Pasta Han Kki for pasta~ It was Friday so he planned to eat and then meet a friend to hang out at a board game café.

We got the complimentary garlic bread, plus vongole pasta and gamberi aglio olio pasta.

Even at ₩9,900, the portion and taste were exactly the same as before. I also liked that Pasta Han Kki dishes come out fast.

What the gambas aglio olio is like

The gamberi aglio olio came with 4 plump shrimp. A garlic-packed shrimp oil pasta!

This is my third visit here too, and Pasta Han Kki really is a place people come back to often. There's a wide variety of Western dishes you can enjoy without breaking the bank.

Spicy vongole oil pasta: how hot is it for kids?

The spicy vongole oil pasta was loaded with clams. Even though it's called spicy, the heat level was one my 6th-grade son handled just fine — so kids should be able to eat it too.

Maybe because the clams were so fresh, they slid off the shells easily and had that satisfying plump, chewy bite.

We got through this many clams and shrimp. There were more clams than I expected.

Third visit to Pasta Han Kki: is it still worth it?

The portion seemed like a lot for my elementary school son, so he told me to eat more, and I ended up completely stuffed on pasta. Next time I meet a friend at Pasta Han Kki, I'll bring a bottle of wine along (corkage-free).
