I wanted to give my baby a chance to try lots of delicious food, so here's my honest review of visiting Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch. I had such a great time at the Kuu Kuu Ori Branch last month that I decided to try the Nowon branch this time. Since I still have a young baby, I worried a crowded restaurant might stress her out or that we might inconvenience other diners. So I booked the quietest, least busy time — 3pm!

Cutting to the chase: thanks to the staff's incredible kindness and thoughtfulness, we had a truly comfortable and enjoyable meal with the baby. I'd strongly recommend this place for a family gathering in Nowon or anyone looking for a buffet to visit with a baby.

Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch and where do you park?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the 6th floor of the Seoul Oncheon building at 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul. Parking in the building is free for the first 2 hours, and on Saturdays you can get up to 4 hours free at the nearby Hagye Techno Town underground lot.

• Building parking lot (Seoul Oncheon building): the entrance is at the back of the building. The entry is a bit narrow so newer drivers might feel a little nervous, but once you're inside, the parking area is spacious and comfortable!

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch boasts an enormous, open floor space of over 300 pyeong (about 990 square meters). The interior is done in natural wood and white tones throughout, making it bright, comfortable, and impressively clean.

It's especially well set up for family gatherings and group events — there are private rooms and rentable spaces ranging from small groups of 14 up to 40, 60, 80, and even up to 200-300 people.

But what really touched me was how kind the staff were! They had a high chair set up and ready for us right away, and they gave our family a whole roomy section, practically like our own private area, so we could eat comfortably with the baby. They fussed over her so sweetly and looked after every little detail, so we could relax and truly enjoy our meal.

• Desserts & ice cream: marble ice cream, which used to be dinner/weekend only, is now available at weekday lunch too!

Best dishes for adults at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch

• Sushi corner: the sashimi and sushi toppings were all really fresh overall! Definitely try the flounder and salmon sushi now that the portions are bigger.
• Dessert corner: the popping marble ice cream and the colorful, fresh fruit made for a wonderful finish. (My husband said the coffee was good too.)

Mild dishes a baby can eat

For my baby, who's still quite young, I fed her tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), dongpa-jok (braised pork shank), snow crab soup, and seaweed soup — none of it too strongly seasoned, all soft, and she gobbled it right up! For dessert, she absolutely devoured the melon ☺️ If you're visiting with a young child, I highly recommend this combo.

Since we were visiting with a baby, I'd worried a lot that a crowd might get in the way of our meal or that we'd be a bother to others, but the staff were so warm and doting toward our baby that it was genuinely touching 😍🫶

The restaurant was kept spotlessly clean, and the variety and freshness of the buffet food exceeded my expectations too. Thanks to the kind staff, we had a truly enjoyable meal out for the first time in a while. I'd 100% go back!
