Nowon pasta restaurant in Seoul: shrimp rosé pasta, garden salad

While deciding on dinner with the kids, we headed to Nowon Station for pasta. This time we visited Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch!

This was already our second visit. The first time, the prices weren't a burden and the menu had so much variety, so we came back for dinner with the kids again.

This time we ordered rosé pasta, beef brisket aglio olio, and a garden salad.

Where is Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch, and what are the hours?

Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch is on the 1st floor of the Daegwang Building, 19 Sanggye-ro 5-gil, Nowon-gu, Seoul. It's fairly close to exit 9 of Nowon Station, so it was easy to find.

Hours are 10:50 AM to 10:00 PM, with last order at 9:00 PM. It's a good spot if you have plans near Nowon Station or want a family dinner with the kids.

What is the restaurant like inside?

The interior of Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch is cute and casual. It has a slightly vintage American diner vibe, so it's nice for photos too.

It's not overly formal, so it was comfortable to eat there with the kids, and it also seemed fine for dates, gatherings with friends, or eating alone.

The staff were friendly too, so we had a good experience on this second visit as well.

Pasta Han Kki menu and prices

The strength of Pasta Han Kki is really the variety of the menu and the affordable prices. From tomato, cream, rosé, and oil pastas to risotto and pizza,

salads and sides round out a menu diverse enough for a group. With how expensive dining out has gotten, ordering several dishes for the kids can feel like a lot, but the prices here are reasonably good, making it a solid budget-friendly pick near Nowon Station.

How generous is the garden salad?

What I liked most this time was, surprisingly, the garden salad. It came out much more generous than expected, and I loved it the moment I saw it!

Eating it lightly alongside the two pastas, it paired really well.

We usually don't order vegetable dishes when eating out with the kids, but with a salad this generous, I think we'll order it again next time.

How was the beef brisket aglio olio?

Pasta Han Kki's beef brisket aglio olio is an oil pasta with beef brisket mixed in. Having meat in it made it more filling than just pasta alone.

It paired well with the clean flavor typical of oil pasta, and the kids ate it up nicely. Best of all, since the kids said it was delicious and ate well, the menu choice was a success haha.

The shrimp rosé pasta the kids loved

The rosé pasta also got a good reaction from the kids. The soft rosé sauce was easy for them to eat, and I enjoyed it too.

Since the sauce was completely different from the beef brisket aglio olio, alternating between the two kept things from getting monotonous, and we finished it all happily.

Is Pasta Han Kki in Nowon worth it with kids?

This was our second visit to Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch! Once again the kids ate the pasta really well, and the garden salad was generous too, so it was a satisfying family dinner out.

With its cute atmosphere, it also seems like a good spot for a date near Nowon Station. The prices aren't a burden and the menu options are so varied that it's easy to visit with friends or even alone — a great budget-friendly restaurant near Nowon Station.
