Why Soi Nana for Thai food near Seongsu Station?
Soi Nana Seongsu is a Thai restaurant near Seongsu Station on Seongsuiro 22-gil. I was craving Thai food near Seongsu Station in Seoul today, looked around, and ended up here — here's my review!

Seongsu has so many good restaurants and cafés that I end up there often for lunch or dates. This time I went with my usual favorite, Thai food, and headed to Soi Nana Seongsu, a well-known Thai spot near Seongsu Station haha.
I'd heard the pu pad pong curry here was really good, and I'll say it upfront — it's a must-order!!

Where Soi Nana Seongsu is and where to park
Soi Nana Seongsu is right near Seongsu Station, so it was easy to get to. For anyone driving, the building's underground parking lot gives you 1 hour free!
Parking is usually a headache in Seongsu, so having a building lot made it a solid option even by car.

What the Soi Nana dining room is like
The windows at Soi Nana Seongsu are left open, giving it a terrace-dining kind of feel. The moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere — I bet it's even better on a nice-weather day!

The interior itself had this exotic, Southeast-Asia-getaway feel haha. Seongsu's hip vibe mixed with the Thai atmosphere made it feel like more than just a place to eat — a spot to enjoy the mood along with the meal. It'd work well as a date course near Seongsu Station too.

The three dishes ordered at Soi Nana
- Pu pad pong curry (stir-fried crab curry)
- Aronsatae beef pho
- Garlic chip chicken wings
That's what I went with!

Pu pad pong curry: fried soft-shell crab in coconut curry sauce
With Soi Nana's pu pad pong curry, the fried soft-shell crab caught my eye the second it arrived. One bite in — crispy outside, really soft inside!
Normally eating crab means dealing with the shell, but soft-shell crab means you can eat the whole thing, shell and all, which made it so easy. And the curry sauce was genuinely delicious ㅠㅠ with coconut milk and egg in it, it came out smooth, nutty, and subtly sweet.

Eating the crispy-yet-tender soft-shell crab alongside it made for a really great combo. And most of all, that curry sauce went so well with rice... total rice thief ㅠㅠ Scoop up a big spoonful of curry sauce with rice, top it with a piece of soft-shell crab, and it's seriously good haha.
Honestly, out of everything I ate that day, the pu pad pong curry was the best. If you're visiting Soi Nana Seongsu for the first time, I'd say the pu pad pong curry is a non-negotiable order.

Beef shank rice noodle soup: a rich broth
Next up was the aronsatae beef pho. It felt a bit different from typical pho — for starters, the broth color was darker than usual.
One sip in, the broth had real depth and umami, so it was delicious. It was a different vibe from the clear-broth pho I usually eat, which made for a refreshing change.

The aronsatae (beef shank) was cooked nice and tender too, and it went well with the noodles. The broth was rich without being too heavy — the kind of flavor that keeps pulling your spoon back in.

Chicken wings with garlic chips: a side to share
I also tried the garlic chip chicken wings ordered as a side! Visually it looked kind of like buffalo wings. One bite and the skin was crispy while the meat inside stayed juicy — delicious haha.
Chicken wings especially are a safe, crowd-pleasing menu item, so they seemed like a solid side to add when dining with a group.

Is Soi Nana Seongsu worth a second visit?
Soi Nana Seongsu was a Thai restaurant I liked not just for the food but for the atmosphere. Everything on the menu was tasty overall, but the dish I'd recommend most is still the pu pad pong curry.
The fried soft-shell crab was crispy outside and soft inside, and it paired so well with the nutty, smooth curry sauce. Piling curry sauce on rice was so good my hand kept going back for more haha.
If you're looking for a good Thai restaurant in Seongsu, a lunch spot, or a date course, Soi Nana Seongsu is worth a visit :) Next time I go back, I'm definitely ordering the pu pad pong curry again! ♡
