As my previous color faded, my overall hair color was starting to look a little messy, so I told designer Dayoung at TONI&GUY Daechi what I wanted and went in for a matte brown color using INOA dye. My scalp is usually sensitive, so I tend to pay attention to hair-dye smells and any irritation on my scalp. First, she carefully checked my current hair condition and existing color. I explained that my old color had faded and started to look messy, and that I wanted to calm that down. Designer Dayoung looked at my current color and overall hair condition, then chose a shade to suit the mood I wanted.

Careful A’Yunche scalp protection first

Before the color process began in earnest, she carefully applied A’Yunche scalp protector all over my scalp and then started the coloring.

Rather than applying dye straight away, she checked my scalp condition and made sure to use a protector, which really put me at ease. When I mentioned that my scalp is usually sensitive and that I worry about stinging or a burning sensation during coloring, she carefully checked my scalp condition too.

After the scalp protection was finished, she applied the matte brown color using INOA hair dye. INOA is said to be a coloring system that does not use ammonia and instead uses oil.

Personally, I found that the typical hair-dye smell was not overwhelmingly irritating, so it was more comfortable than I expected. Even with my sensitive scalp, I did not feel any stinging or burning during the color process.

Designer Dayoung kept checking whether I was uncomfortable at any point while she worked, so I could relax. I was impressed that she paid close attention not only to the color I wanted, but also to my scalp condition.

While I waited for the color to process, they brought me a warm drink and a simple snack, so I could wait at my leisure~

Once we confirmed the color had come out well, I moved to the shampoo room. Sitting in a massage chair while the remaining dye was thoroughly washed out made my scalp feel refreshed, and my body felt refreshed too. It did not end with shampoo—the final step was an A’Yunche hair clinic.

After coloring, you naturally think about hair condition as much as color. Since my hair is long, I especially tend to worry about whether it looks dry from the mid-lengths to the ends. The finishing care with the A’Yunche hair clinic made me much happier with it.

Once the clinic and blow-dry were all finished, my hair looked smoothly settled overall and felt soft to the touch. There was a subtle shine too, which made the matte brown color look even cleaner.
