Korean soup restaurant in Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu: Dwaeji Gomtang
In short
Dwaeji Gomtang House Musinsa Mega Store Branch is a Korean gomtang (pork bone broth) restaurant in the special pop-up zone of the 4th floor food court at Musinsa Mega Store in Seongsu, Seoul. After browsing the store, I ordered the clear gomtang set (15,000 won) and the minari and tot giant mandu (water dropwort and hijiki dumplings, 9,000 won) at the kiosk and ate the mild broth with rice and dumplings in turn. It is an easy way to eat a popular Seongsu dish with no queue, right in the middle of a shopping trip.

Where to find the 4th floor food court at Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu
Whenever I have a reason to head to Seongsu these days, Musinsa Mega Store is one of the places I naturally end up at! This time I visited to look around the store and grab a meal nearby too.

After a full loop around Musinsa Mega Store, I was getting hungry, so I headed to Gomtang House. As the name suggests, it's a place centered on soup dishes, good for a filling meal — and pretty convenient to grab food while shopping.
And Gomtang House is already a well-known Seongsu restaurant with long waits, right? Being able to eat at that famous spot without waiting in line at the Musinsa Mega Store food corner — I had to try it right away!

What kind of restaurant is Dwaeji Gomtang House Musinsa Mega Store Branch?
Gomtang House is located at the very back of the food court. Dwaeji Gomtang House Musinsa Mega Store Branch is a Korean restaurant brand built around a clear, deep broth made by simmering pork for a long time. With its main branch in Seongsu, this gomtang specialist focuses on menus that highlight the natural flavor of the ingredients and a light broth, rather than heavy seasoning.
The branch located on the 4th floor food court of Musinsa Mega Store in Seongsu, in particular, operates as a space where you can experience fashion and food culture together. It's known as a good place to enjoy a comfortable meal while shopping.

Looking at the menu after stepping inside, there were dishes pairing broth with rice — perfect for when you're craving a filling meal, which feels right for this time of year!

Clear gomtang set, 15,000 won, and minari and tot giant mandu, 9,000 won
- Clear gomtang set — ₩15,000
- Minari tot (water dropwort and hijiki) giant mandu — ₩9,000

True to its name, the gomtang set has a clear, clean broth served with rice, making it a filling one-dish meal.
The broth was clean and light rather than heavy, so it was easy to eat from the very first spoonful, and eating warm broth with rice was more filling than I expected. Pairing it with the mandu (dumplings) especially made for a great combo. The mandu added a savory, light richness, while the clear gomtang cleaned the palate — a combination that had me going back and forth between the two!

How do the Musinsa-only dumplings taste?
I was especially curious because they said there's a special mandu menu sold only here at Musinsa. Since I'm usually a fan of mandu, I couldn't pass it up and ordered it right away. 🥟
I expected something a bit different from regular mandu, and after one bite, the filling was quite substantial, with the juices and the flavor of the filling blending well! Eating it with the clear gomtang paired nicely with the light broth too. Eaten warm, the wrapper was chewy and the filling moist, so the texture was great, and it went well with the clean broth of the clear gomtang.
If you're visiting Musinsa Mega Store, this is a menu worth trying at least once since you can't easily find it elsewhere. It seems like a good option whether you're looking for something quick or a more filling meal while shopping in Seongsu.

What made it even more fun was that there's mandu sold only here at Musinsa — if you're planning to visit Musinsa Mega Store, I'd recommend stopping by together. 🥟🤍 If you want to shop in Seongsu and grab a good meal too, try the Musinsa Mega Store + Gomtang House course!
